Cons: Sound was watery and hollow, I gave them a chance. Used several different soundcard and onboard. Different games, drivers, movies and music, mixing channels, adjusting equalizers. Nope.

Overall Review: What should have been excellent, was just hyped up. The sound was watery at times, decent mids and high's, ZERO low end. The channel splitting did not work so well, and NO soundcard or onboard would properly configure it, even manually it just DID NOT sound right. RMA'ed and returned them. 3 eggs because they worked out of the box, and looked/felt great.

Pros: Great budget laptop for entry level on-the-go gaming and general work/business-type things.

Cons: -Dedicated GPU cannot be standalone, only disabled -APU/GPU together only work in DX11 games which already have a high bar for power consumption -Slow HDD (5400 500gb) -Low/Slow memory (4gb 1600) -Windows 8 (not a fan) -HEAT HEAT HEAT (see other) -Screen quality - meh

Overall Review: Now that you get the gist of what I am getting at, I will exclaim what all I have figured out that brings this otherwise perfect piece of hardware, into the ground. We will address the cons first. - While the GPU cannot be utilized by itself, it only uses the APU/GPU in DX11 supported programs and gaming, most DX9-10.x stuff will run perfectly fine on the APU. -Let's be honest, the factory HDD is slow as balls. I fixed this by upgrading to a 500gb (I don't store tons of things on a moving object...) 7200rpm SSHD 4gb. This not only yields a faster spindle rate which will increase read/write, it also has 4gb of memory for storing frequently used programs for instant access, further increasing speed. -Memory memory memory, the 4gb is comes with is garbage, plain and simple. Find yourself a good set of dual 4gb 1600mhz memory, the APU loves dual channel. -Windows 8, had it all of 10 minutes after receiving this in the mail. -Heat, lets discuss heat and how to fix this major, major, should-have-never-happened issue. First step is to update the BIOS. Goto Lenovo's website, find the laptop drivers for the BIOS, install, it fixes an issue that keeps the fan from running. Second step, this may or may not be good for some people. Take the three screws out of the bottom panel for access to the HDD and memory, now look at where the fan is. Notice there is zero air supply to the fan? Where does it get this mythical air from? Mark with a sharpie a cutting path around that fan area on the plastic cover you removed, take a dremel, and cut that out. Goto office depot, get a small desk-top mesh trash can, cut it apart, flatten it out, and paste it to that plastic cover to keep debris, and large objects out of the fan. My temps prior to this would hit 100c+ and shut down. Now they are lucky to hit 50c gaming on FFXIV. -Screen quality will always suck. It is very washed out compared to other laptops I have had. I hope this helps, it was driving me nuts with the heat and slow peripherals. The memory and HDD really make this laptop come to life. I picked it up for $400, put another $130 into it, and I feel that a $800 laptop can't touch this.

Pros: USB 3.0/SATA 3, latest chipset for AMD, supports newer processors and future ones, awesome heatsink layout and matte blacked out.

Cons: Felt a bit flimsy, but its a board with a ton of holes in it, who can be picky about that??

Overall Review: Built this into my girlfriends computer, utilizing a FX-4100 for now, with 8gb of Corsair Vengeance DDR3 1600, and a MSI HD 7850 2gb. Works great performs great, NO problems out of the box, wish it had a newer updated BIOS layout like the Intel boards.

Pros: Excellent looks Great performance Overclocks with EASE Tons of options giving full control A high-end board with a mid-level price Tons of USB 3.0 and 2.0 Wireless and Bluetooth built in Supports all the latest tech

Cons: Would have liked to buy this for $160ish but a few dollars won't kill me.

Overall Review: Threw in an i7 3770k, a set of Patriot Viper 3 1866 (16gb, 2x8gb), and two Asus HD 7850 2gb's. This board with JUST the Genie button pushed, automatically OC'ed the RAM to 1866, and the processor to 4.2ghz in a single boot. Without even going to the BIOS. Would recommend to friends.

Pros: Very fast Crossfire works great Runs everything on max with just one Little to no problems out of the card Low(er) power requirement Great price Very quiet

Cons: A bit long, watch out if you have a small form-factor case. I've heard 'rumors' about drivers, but have not confirmed any of them true yet, guess this isn't a con.
