Pros: I dont know what this is intended for, however I needed it to take a fan with a 4 pin molex power connector, and a 3 pin connector that only had the rpm wire, and connect it to a fan controller that supports 3 pin fans only. By removing the red power wire from the male 3 pin end, and adding it to the proper location on the female 3 pin end, I was able to hook an awesome 80mm fan to an awesome fan controller. This random wire saved the day by making incompatible parts compatible.

Cons: Hm.. Well all I can say is it would be nice if I didn't have to move wires around on it, but as I said, I didn't use it as intended.

Overall Review: I needed 2 of these, and only bought one on the original purchase, so I had one loud fan at max until I ordered a second one. The wire was 99 cents, the shipping was like 7 bucks.

Pros: Does what it says upon receiving my unit i was pretty disappointed. the outer shell of the unit is damaged and cracked at the bottom, it was dropped in transit. Also several screws that secure the outer casing to the body of the unit were completely missing. I had also got an antec 1200 case, and similar treatment occured, a plastic rivet had broken off from the top of the case, and the plexiglass side was damaged. Naturally after waiting for my parts, i didnt want to go through all the effort of an rma for cosmetic defects, but come on. I paid 270 after 1 day shipping for my case and received a damaged product. the airconditioner which cost just under 400 came damaged and missing screws. not accepting the package from ups would have been foolish as theres no guarantee ill get a less damaged unit, or that the unit i originally got was damaged until it was removed from the box. Cons: from the site due to the shipping. I dont buy expensive parts to receive damaged items, nor to fill out endless RMA's wasting both of our time and money everytime i get a part that is not of the quality a new item should be. What good is an online store with good prices if anything over 30 lbs gets damaged. Id rather pay more for a new product at a store, than less for a damaged one i have to wait to receive. Naturally these bad experiences with shipping will greatly affect my decisions involving large purchases from you. Overall Review: never satisfied with the condition of the box the air conditioner came in, i declined to accept, and it was a never ending return? perhaps i should have forced the ups man to stay and watch me unpack it all, so when i found the damage i could hand him the mess and say "na this thing is broke dude" If it wasnt so hot id have definately returned this item, and i'm regretting the purchase. Pros: Fine headset, confortable, lightweight, good sound quality, performs as described. Truly a sweet piece of hardware.

Cons: The drivers are trash. The device will regularly cease working and will not work without a restart. In one 4 hour gaming session I had to restart 3 times. I must restart my pc to remedy this issue minimum 3 times daily. Completely a waste of my time and money, I was better off with 20 dollar cvs speakers. Overall Review: Overclocked to 4 ghz on a gigabyte p45 board. somehow i cut the compile time on maps in half by OC'ing to 4 from 3ghz. eats anything u can throw at it. benchmarks can easily exceed those of a i7 920 or 940 on a proper build.

Pros: FAN Its that loud. FAN Does exactly what its meant to, feels extremely quality just to hold. Reminds me of that "Tornado" thing they sell on TV that goes in your air intake to make a cyclone, improving fuel efficiency. You will want a method of fan control if you get this. You may run into compatibility issues with fan controllers due to this fans 4 pin and 3 pin connectors, but there are workarounds. I used a modded rosewill fan adapter cable that is available on newegg to make mine work, and its GREAT once its controllable. I keep it around 2000 rpms on normal use, and if the server gets busy or visibly hot according to the scythe fan controller, I crank it to 5500 and its like WHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. Best 80 mm fan in my opinion.

Cons: Compatibility with fan controllers. Thick, like over an inch thick. Be prepared. And LOUD at max. I know some fans include a speed switch, that would have been a really pleasant addition.

Overall Review: Worth every bit of the 10 bucks it cost.

Pros: It does what you need it to for the most part. Display is nice, materials are nice, basically matches black aluminum case. Temp sensors are accurate within 2 degrees, perhaps better yet. Remember, its the temp of the sensor head so you won't be shoving this on your cpu and expecting to see the same temp as your software based sensor [plug]RealTemp[/plug]. First one died but theres always outside variables involved in part failures, second one runs fine as I knew it would. I've got it controlling some antec fans and some wicked 80 cfm fan that is too loud for use without this controller.

Cons: I had to RMA the first one I, after 2 of 4 channels died within a week. However, it was coupled with a monster fan that moved like 250 cfm, and was comparable to a cop car siren from about 2 blocks distance. It never controlled the fan properly, and shortly after installation those channels died. The mondo fan might have just been too much for it, naturally after failing to control that fan I returned it and have had no issues since. Newegg always treats their customers great, making RMA's, refunds, and confusions extremely simple to deal with. There is alot of wires.. I can see someone thinking the digital readout is a bit bright, but I had no issues falling asleep with it staring at me. The fan wires are slightly difficultto install, but a carefully placed flat head screw driver firmly locks the little connecters in. I also had to bend the frame to get the screw for the drive bays to be compatable. I was a bit nervous but it was nothing like that time I took a hacksaw to my ram 8P

Overall Review: Good product, would get again. I'm actually surprised there isn't nicer models with more options. I wanted to spend more than this, however this does exactly what i needed. I'd have just as well considered more expensive options for a single bay fan controller. It would be nice if it supported fans with 4 pin molex power connectors, however a rosewell power supply fan adapter can be modded to allow fans with a 4 pin power and a 3 pin connecter with only the rpm wire to connect to a channel on this unit, and the wire is like .99 cents on newegg.

Seller lists 6 year old item that is currently unavailable for higher than original cost. Accepts payment, creates shipping label, never ships. Agrees to offer full refund for their failure and never responds again. Contact newegg 3 or 4 times. Paid on may 14th. still waiting for my refund of 415.72 on june 22nd. So THIS is the power of newegg marketplace. Dont use this seller, and you should honestly avoid ALL marketplace sales if this is how newegg "protects" you as a buyer. 5 weeks deep into sending some random 415 dollars for nothing and getting nothing back. Been using newegg since 2009. This may be the last time. Try newegg's competitors first. They will protect you with efficiency from malicious sellers. I named them but newegg censors their names because they are clearly afraid and must pretend competition doesnt exist instead of simply outperforming their competition like a real capitalist entity. Try the other internet markets that newegg does not allow to be named in their reviews.
