Upgrade of HP Elitebook 820 WORKS!!!
Pros: Small form factor, no heat, little power usage. And a main factor - price. I will upgrade that to a bigger size now when I know it is working.
Cons: Other then the fact that connector is little bit different on my motherboard, which was a main reason not to upgrade till later when price drop, got it on sale.
Overall Review: I was very hesitant to invest in something which might not work, I check all I can find online about upgrading Elitebooks, all info on the HP site is very vague and they don't have any part number for that slot in the laptop motherboard. But it is working! I clone my 3.5 system SSD to the flash with Paragon Drive copy 15 Pro, and it is working, been testing it for last 2 weeks. the real speed of file transfer from SSD to flash around 370Mb - write, Win7 Pro start in less then 21 sec. Best upgrade I've done lately. Now will try 1Tb since the prices is very good.
Failed after 5 months
Pros: size, price, speed.
Cons: Failed after 5 months, could not access my data, since my warranty is long gone, will try to open it and access drive from inside,
Good product, got 2, great price. could not beat the storage space/price ratio.
Cons: I wish 22 TB would be at that price point. to strech the upgrade to SSD storage, to 2030.
Overall Review: I would recommend. Get it while it lasts. If you have RAID array should last you a while. It is new, 0 hours on them when I opened the box and test it. Some numbers on a Crystaldisk did not scare me, I have drives performing with 98k hours. Got first drive a few weeks ago and install it into a small FF for my 4k TV to run movies with DTS sound, since my LG TV did not support it. Second HDD I install into a Fantom Drives case: format and filled, looks new and fills solid. Speed is not my priority I did not test it much, but moving a few TB movie collection will not happen fast. So far I love it.
Small size big DATA
Pros: 32Gb - can keep all my music and a few audio books on 1 flash drive. I have one more USB port for expanding later now. Price - the biggest Pros. I know usb 2.0 is old and slow, but perfect for some windows installation software since it is working with almost any old computer, will try to use it for resetting passwords and installing drivers on my newest windows installation, in a PCs with UEFI and nonUEFI BIOS.
Cons: I wish it would be smaller, but at the same time, I don't want it to be too small and easy to loose.
Overall Review: I saved all my music and some of audio books on that stick - work perfect with my Mazda 3 stock radio, plays everything nicely. I was curious at first, since I did not know if it gonna work, old radios have a 8Gb limit on flash drives they might work. But this drive works with all 32 Gb. Keep it formatted as default system was and fill it with music. Initial Access time a lot faster then through Bluetooth. I'm happy with my purchase.
love it!
Pros: Price when it on sale Speed ( did not slow down old computers) ability to choose from - AV or Internet security. License management. Easy to set up and the last but the best: silence when its working. it did not bother you with stupid alerts every 5 minutes like other AV does.
Cons: Too expensive if it is not on sale.
Overall Review: so far it is my go to antivirus, best for few years old laptops, which we all have. It did not slow down the computer, very lite and very reliable. I've been using Eset products for quite a while, at least last 10 years. It hard to find on sale lately, but on black Friday and on 4-th of July I always getting a few licenses.
good quality, fast shipping, work great
Pros: it is fast, did not slow down my dual core laptop or any of the old desktops I have. I have NOD32 for the last 10 years, on all my computers, it works good, never have a problem with it.
Cons: the price, most of the time it is like 35dollars per license per year, who can pay that? even if it is worth it...
Overall Review: I would recommend this product to anyone who have more then 5 years old computer and want to surf internet with no lagging, or having CPU at 100% all the time. this AV is perfect for most home computers. the Price can be beat only by inferior product, only if you cant wait or could not look. sometimes it took me a week to find license for the price I'm willing to pay, but it is possible.
2 weeks after order - no show
its been 2 weeks since I order it, haven't received it yet, I've been spoiled by Newegs fast shipping and all the goodies, the low prices is a special treat at newegg. to say Ive been disappointed - did not cut it. next time will check twice before buying stuff here, if it ship from china- don't expect it to be delivered for at least a month. I would rather pay 5$ extra but get it in 3 days like always. Not newegg fault, they are expanding, its understandable, hope it would say on the page, that DELIVERY MAY TAKE UP TO A MONTH.
