Pros: Got what I wanted. One piece, metal not plastic, no moving parts, no cap to lose. Adequate for my needs.

Cons: None really. An indicator light would be nice but it is really too small for one. Gets a bit warm but it is metal. My other flash drive is a Corsair Voyager wrapped in rubber.

Overall Review: Almost shockingly small. In the pictures it looks four times as big. So small it would be easy to lose so be careful. It is 2.0 but I only have 2.0 ports. From my reading I get the idea that 2.0 is tried and true. The 8GB would have been enough for my needs but it was $7.49 and the 16GB was $8.99. Guess which one I ordered. As soon as my order went through, probably the first in a while, the newegg Zuckerberg designed AI whatever immediately increased the price to $10.49. It appears there are thousands of these things and I freely wasted a lot of my time deciding which one to buy. This one is just fine. I mentioned the casing is metal. It may not last but it is not going to break. I am a long-time loyal newegg customer. The standard 30 day return policy is what matters, not the manufacturer warranty. There is a rather high percentage chance of getting a dud. If you do get a dud you are going to find out right away and can return it. The newegg return policy for refund or replacement is simple, quick, and easy. They take care of everything. You can count on it. On the other hand, returning an $8.99 item would not be worth not be worth the clicks. One more thing. Freeing this from the manufacturer packaging is a bit of a challenge. Thanks, Mark

Overall Review: Linux doesn't recognize the scanner in my fancy all-in-one printer so I bought this. It works well with Linux Mint 16 and Simple Scan. After much experimentation, including placing a phone book on the lid, I am getting decent results from this. From other reviews, these don't seem to be known for their durability but I only paid $49 for mine. If it breaks I can buy a new one. I don't scan often but when you need it this one works.

Pros: Cheap, simple, does what it says.

Cons: Not as fast as ethernet but I expected that.

Overall Review: I used this to connect a security system DVR located on a different floor of the house from the router. There is a slightly longer delay than when I had the DVR connected directly to the router but this is a minor gripe.

Pros: At $45 with the $10 promo code it beat anything else for the money.

Cons: None.

Overall Review: I was going to submit for the $10 mail-in rebate but I didn't want to cut a hole in the nice box.
