happy with it but for the price i expect little more
Pros: no tearing at all playing many fast paced games. no dead pixels at
Cons: light bleed when you use overdrive. i think that is expected. i didnt expect as much but with overdrive off not much is noticed. only in dark room with dark screen. one thing to note is that this monitor is not that big as i expected. its very long and narrow. its as tall or little less than my 27in 4k monitor.
Overall Review: realized that buying the 4k 144hz monitor was a waste of money for me and decided to get this and im happy. when they make a 35in HDR 4K with full led array or microled monitors come out its time to upgrade.
not what i expected from Kingston
Pros: well it looks cool. solid ram
Cons: it will boot and start windows, even at 1200mhz with 2.36v but system is very unstable and locks up as soon as i start any game or a program that requires some loading.
Overall Review: thank goodness i still have my old Adata sticks. they are just as fast as this ram at 1200 when i overclock the 6400 adata at 900mhz. i would not recommend this ram. if you really must have the best, get some dominator ram, if you dont have the cash then some 1066 ram will do just fine. i wish i did not waste my money on this ram.
The Good the Bad and the Ugly
Pros: Amazing overclocker. able to take 120% power and less than 50C temp is impressive. Nice to see 2000+ on the clock. Can finally play Crysis 4K with all the eye candy on. It did come with Destiny 2 code though I cant activate it. Offer might be expired according to their website.
Cons: Anyone buying this card will want and HAS extensive monitoring of the system components i guarantee you. With that said this card wont let you control the pump and the radiator fan RPM. It wont even let you control the fan on the card itself though i haven't seen it come on yet because the card has not his 50C with 4k game play even while benchmarking.
Overall Review: I feel like EVGA has purposely limited the monitoring and control of this card to prepare us for the FTW edition and charge us even more. With that said, I feel disappointed in this 800 dollar card because it doesn't have the features others have had in the past in this price point. Because of that, i had to drop an egg unfortunately. Been a long time fan of EVGA and though this card exceeded my expectation in some areas it has disappointed in others. Am i content with my purchase? Yes, but for a card at this price point and the obvious limitations to charge more for future card releases, is disappointing. Buy at your own risk. If yours won't overclock this well as mine, you will be even more disappointed because NO RGB and NO Fan control is implemented.
good stuff
Pros: works really well. cant complain
Cons: hasnt gone over 60% load on any game yet. actually really cool at 40C idle.
great DL-DVDs
Pros: Great price. double the storage of regular DVDs
Cons: still wish they were as cheap as regular DVDs but you get what you pay for.
Overall Review: when i first got these DVDs they didnt work. i was getting bad burns and i was really dissapointed that a memorex product was bad since i been using their regular DVDs forever!!! searched online and did a firmware update on my DVD burner and havnet had a bad burn since. even the old DL-DVD that had unsuccessful burns before and i was going to throw out worked!!! GET A FIRMWARE update guys. these work great.
keep on rocking
Pros: had these for over a year and they are quiet and do what they are supposed to.
Cons: none.
