As Sweet As I Expected
Pros: -3000MHz Speed is Great -Awesome Look -GSkill Software Is A Quick Download And Easy To Customize With -Not A Bad Price For Great RAM (Got on sale for $126)
Cons: None
Overall Review: Love GSkill!! Their products always match their performance with their awesome look. Very happy with these.
Massive and Beautiful!!!!!!!!
Pros: -2K Ultra Wide Gaming -35" of high res glory -High refresh rate for a larger panel -Plenty of Customization options (Shadow Control, Game Color, Gamma, Panel Overdrive etc) -Looks very slick and the stand is very durable which is a plus because the monitor is pretty heavy as you can imagine. -G-SYNC -USB Fast Charging -The hook to put your headset on is really nice -Very quick and easy to set up
Cons: None
Overall Review: I'm very happy with this monitor and would highly recommend it. The only thing I'll add is that as of now, Nvidia has apparently been having problems with VA panels larger than 32" in their drivers with G-SYNC. I found this out because I noticed slight flickering in games, particularly in the dark spots on screen. It sounds like there will eventually be a remedy. Note that this is a slight flickering and may not bother you, but if it does like it did me you have the option of using the new Adapive Sync Nvidia released in recent months. I haven't noticed any difference in using Adaptive Sync From G-SYNC in terms of quality or smoothness.
Does What It's Supposed To Do & Looks Beautiful Doing It
Pros: -Very easy install -Comes with an assortment of CPU brackets, Including the AMD TR4!! (Saved my but here since the bracket my ThreadRipper 1920x came with didn't fit the cooler) -Easy customization with iCUE (Fan and Pump Speeds, RGB effects) -Looks amazing! Definitely a crowd pleaser
Cons: -Only 2 settings pretty much for the pump, Quiet mode and Extreme, something in between would be nice too -Seems like the CPU should be cooler given that it's a water cooler, but then again I am cooling a ThreadRipper which is known to run hot, and this is my first water cooler so you can probably rule that 'con' out lol
Overall Review: Costs more than the non RGB counterparts but if you want the 'flare' you gotta pay for it i guess. The connections to the motherboard and controller where easy to set up but you're going to need some patience when it comes to the wire management.
Great Card - But Not Quite What I Expected
Pros: -Handles every game I have with max settings easily. -Looks great! Great design and aesthetic feel to it. The RGB is a nice touch. -Cranks out most games on 4k display @ 60fps or above -Easy to Install
Cons: The only concern I have is that it seems like the card doesn't want to utilize all of it's power when used for 1080p gaming. I may be not fully understanding the reason why. I have looked up reasons and it always points back to bottlenecking but having a Threadripper 1920x and 16GB of RAM I have a hard time seeing that as the issue. Maybe just a driver hiccup or something I dont know. As far as the 'not quite what I expected' bit I guess I expected this thing to crush @1080p with at least 150fps or above on games but it seems like it stays at about 100-120fps @about 60% usage. Not terrible at all, but since I dropped the coin on a monster card, I was expecting more MONSTER performance. If anything else, and I'm nit-picking here, the card is quite big so keep that in mind for your build. I have a mid-ATX case which fit it well but it's something to just keep in mind, not really a 'con' on the card.
Overall Review: All in all I would recommend it if you have the spare cash to throw at it. It's a great card for 2k and even 4k gaming at about half the price of the 2080ti *at this point in time*
Very Pleasantly Surprised :)
Pros: - Awesome Picture - Very easy to set up and adjust - Fan noise is very reasonable and virtually silent even with the volume down low - Remote access to the menu is very easy to use and personalize - Very lightweight and portable - Puts out video quality equal to projectors in the $700 range - Very versatile - Crisp clear picture even with a 100" screen
Cons: - The picture suffers during the day or while the room is lit up but that is obviously to be expected. Still, with a good amount of light in the room the screen is still quite visible and usable. The best picture quality is definitely to be had at night. - There is no stock means of mounting the unit upside down (i.e.) ceiling mounting, so if that's your plan you have to get creative ( I had to open up the case, voiding the warranty, and drill my own supports into the case itself ) - Virtually no other Cons!!
Overall Review: - I would definitely recommend this projector to anyone who's interested in trying out a projector set up as opposed to a traditional TV - For a projector that costs $70, I had my expectations considerably low figuring that I would have to spend ten times that amount to get something that was comparable to my LCD TV but I was wayyy wrong. I have this mounted about 10 feet away from my wall which I have fitted with a simple flat bed sheet which I trimmed and covered the edges with trim board to essentially make a "picture frame" display. The overall scheme is a full 1080p screen that is 100" diagonally!! - I am sooo happy that I bought this and would highly recommend it to prospective buyers
Lots of room/Low Price
Pros: Really great price, got it on sale for $70 and am happy with it.
Cons: On occasion my disk usage is high on the task manager and things will run slowly for a minute or so but this is probably just things running in the background. This always goes away pretty quickly.
