Microsoft Points...

Microsoft Xbox 360 Live 1600 Points
Microsoft Xbox 360 Live 1600 Points

Pros: Well, you can use them to get stuff on xbox live...

Cons: The points themselves work, however...

Overall Review: For the same price (after shipping and tax on my 1600 points) I could have gotten 2000 straight from XBL.

Works Great In My Xbox 360

Western Digital Scorpio Blue WD1200BEVT 120GB 5400 RPM 8MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 2.5" Notebook Hard Drive Bare Drive
Western Digital Scorpio Blue WD1200BEVT 120GB 5400 RPM 8MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 2.5" Notebook Hard Drive Bare Drive

Pros: Pretty quiet, stays cool (at least the HDD enclosure on the 360 stays cool), and it allows me to have quite a few games installed to my HDD (versus my old 20GB drive T.T).

Cons: A couple of saved games don't like being copied over from one drive to another via Xplorer 360, but this coming Tuesday I should be able to copy all of my saved games off of my 20GB drive to a USB flash drive and replace my corrupted saves legitimately. Essentially, it's been working perfectly and this is the only gripe that I have had with this HDD.

Overall Review: If your planning to use this in an Xbox 360 and you've never hacked a 360 HDD before, be prepared to spend a couple of hours doing research and gaining hands on experience with all of the necessary software to perform this mod. Heck, I'm so pleased with the results from this WD1200BEVT that I just ordered a WD2500BEVT (WHICH IS THE SAME PRICE ATM!!!) and will be using that in my 360 once it arrives.

Intercooler TS

NYKO Intercooler ts Xbox 360
NYKO Intercooler ts Xbox 360

Pros: The intercooler will undoubtedly pull hot air away from your Xbox 360 at a faster rate than the stock fans will. This is good for virtually any Xbox 360. The TS moves a decent amount of air, but airflow can be improved dramatically with a little bit of *modding* (see other thoughts). Unlike previous intercoolers, this one is powered via its own power supply and turns itself on or off accordingly by using a temperature sensor. This means that the intercooler will stay on after the system shuts down in order to cool it off.

Cons: I can't say it is that loud, however, I have my Xbox setup in such a way so that I am always using either my wireless Turtle Beach headphones or my 5.1 surround sound setup, so I can easily overcome the noise that this intercooler generates. If you use your Xbox as a media center, this intercooler will greatly increase the noise output of your system, which may be undesirable. Granted, it will decrease the temperature of your Xbox significantly. IMO, I feel as though the decreased temperatures are worth the added noise.

Overall Review: Okay. For starters, the fan grills that are on the back of the intercooler have a very small amount of surface area for air to be exhausted from. I have found that by cutting the fan grills off (for all three of the fans, including the small one), the amount of air that is pulled away from the Xbox is nearly doubled or even tripled! While this will void the intercooler's warranty, I would say that it is worth it. With my *modded* intercooler, I can play any game for hours on end and the top of my Xbox (which is positioned horizontally) will feel cool to the touch while exhausting warm air as opposed to scalding air. Why Nyko chose to use such an impractical grill system is beyond me... a metal fan grill (if used properly) would have performed much better. It would have allowed more air through, yet, it would still prevent objects from entering and damaging the intercooler.

An excellent overclocker and performer

Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 - Core 2 Quad Kentsfield Quad-Core 2.4 GHz LGA 775 105W None Integrated Graphics Processor - BX80562Q6600
Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 - Core 2 Quad Kentsfield Quad-Core 2.4 GHz LGA 775 105W None Integrated Graphics Processor - BX80562Q6600

Pros: To begin with, it is an excellent overclocker. I cannot say much about stock performance since the moment it went into my motherboard I had it running at a FSB of 333mhz (Effective 3GHz with no voltage increase with a 9x multiplier.) Once I realized I had a VID of 1.325V I knew 3.6GHz would be an attainable goal. 1.50625 volts later I'm running my Q6600 at 3.6GHz. I must admit, it handles everything I throw at it very quickly. At 3.6GHz it generates a 3DMark06 score of around 5,900, nearly 6000! (Which could likely break 6000 if I had better memory!) I have yet to see any slowdowns on this computer that were the result of the processor. Despite the fact that it is a quad-core, the high clock speed and FSB that I have it running at truly allow this processor to shine. If you get this processor, I would advise pairing it with a motherboard capable of running a FSB of at least 333Mhz at a 9x multiplier. Luckily I got this when it was only about 180!

Cons: Not a "true" quad-core. Theoretically it is two E6600's that are connected via the FSB. This is also in part why any FSB increases often provide substantial performance increases. Generates quite a bit of heat, but when paired with any decent air cooler you can keep the temps down and clock everything up. This gem of a processor is reaching its EOL (end of life) by intel sometime this year, a substantial loss for the socket LGA775. The only other con I can think of is that I received one with a high VID of 1.325V (as stated earlier.)

Overall Review: Once overclocked to ~3GHz this processor should truly let your system fly. It may not be the "newest" technology, but with a little bit of effort, patience and basic skill, you can have this CPU do nearly anything. Of course it is less powerful than a Core i7 or a Q9550, but for the price and overclockability, it is an excellent processor that you shouldn't pass up. Just be sure to pair this processor with AT LEAST 2GB of memory and a decent hard drive to prevent system slowdowns! On a side note, I have a Xigmatek S1284-EE cooler with the retention bracket. The processor peaks on one core at 58C while the others readout between 55-58C.

Kingston ValueRAM 512MB DDR 400 (PC 3200) Desktop Memory Model KVR400X64C3A/512

Pros: Well, it works and sped up an old dell computer I had lying around...

Cons: I had to give up the computer when I moved >.<, Could've went without that upgrade after all.

Overall Review: If you have an old P4 (non HT) or an old AMD (AthlonXP's) with only 256MB or 512MB of ram, this will most likely breath life into your aging, but still usable machine.

Different....

Guitar Hero: Aerosmith Xbox 360 Game
Guitar Hero: Aerosmith Xbox 360 Game

Pros: Well, theres new songs to play in this game, however, the game itself isn't suited towards my age group, and as a result I only know several of the songs...

Cons: Coming from Guitar Hero 3 (and beating TTFAF and TDWDTG on expert AND 4 starring BOTH), and a little bit of Guitar Hero 2, this game is just a re-skinned version of Guitar Hero 3, with new songs, and it features the classic band, Aerosmith.

Overall Review: Don't know if this is a pro or con, but there's no option to download songs on XBL. Lastly, I'd just like to add, the few songs I do know are somewhat fun to play... even if it's a whole bunch of new notes to learn >.<
