Nice board
Pros: Great features, eSata port works :}, UEFI bios, auto OC, etc., etc. This is a great board except for the Marvell 9128 controlled internal 6Gb ports. Thankfully, it also has 2 x Intel 6Gb ports and a JTron controlled eSata port that actually works! I'm not a big OC'er but the auto OC was easy and really improved Win 7 performance rating. (I have a Newegg purchased Cooler Master CPU cooler to keep temps down.)
Cons: Internal Marvell 9128 6Gb Sata headers. I took off one star for this, but there are 2 x Intel 6Gb ports and 4 x Intel 3b ports that work flawlessly. I don't understand why board mfgr's don't required Marvell to get their act together. The problems are reflecting on them and perceived board quality. What good are the ports if you can't use them? They don't work with WD 1Tb & 2Tb Sata III data only drives. Boot problems, system hangs, unresponsive, etc.
Overall Review: This is the third different board I have tried: two from ASUS and one from Intel. All had Marvell 9128 none of which worked. Marvell is useless. I'm surprised mfg's use them. This is the first board that has worked properly other than that. The first board (ASUS P8P67) did not recognize kb/mouse after bios post for dual-boot menu. The second (Intel DZ68BC) had problems requiring 2 RMA's. This one is perfect and I am very pleased. Even the JTron eSata works great! This ASUS has been the best board I've tried.
Bad choice
Pros: None for us.
Cons: Ordered three of these. I meant to order the ECB350 that works great for us. The ECB300 does not work well. Our telenet sessions to our database server timeout, lockup and dropout. Other network functions operate poorly. I updated the firmware but it had no affect. These are complete useless in our application.
Overall Review: I installed a temporary broadband router to get us running and it works perfectly. I ordered different access points from Newegg.com and will be discarding these units.
Fast, great drives
Pros: Fast, reasonably priced, easy installation. Fits in both 7mm and 9mm Dell laptop bays.
Cons: None
Overall Review: I purchased 3 of these and easily installed them in Dell laptops with 7mm and 9mm drive bays. There is a stick on adapter that must be used for some 9mm drive bays. I have been running other versions of the Crucial SSD's that I purchased from Newegg and am very satisfied.
Great scanner
Pros: Good form factor and great features.
Cons: None so far.
Overall Review: I bought this for one of our employees. He came to me today and said "I love this scanner!" He makes duplex images from time to time and it handles them in one pass. Based on what I have seen it is a great scanner.
Great access points
Pros: Reliable, great signal strength, numerous features, easy to setup.
Cons: None.
Overall Review: I purchased several of these to replace those from another manufacturer that did not perform in our environment. These D-Link AP's work perfectly, are easy to setup and have numerous bells and whistles. I would recommend them to anyone needing a good access point at a reasonable price.
Great drive
Pros: I replaced my failed two-drive laptop with a Lenovo E530 thinking I couldn't find another 15-inch laptop with two drives. Then I found that the Lenovo supported mSata. I installed this drive to dual-boot between Win 7 & 8 and another Crucial SSD from my old laptop for data & VM's. It works great. The new laptop is very fast and exceeds all my expectations!
Cons: None
Overall Review: I love this drive. I now have a very fast two-drive system. I couldn't be happier!
