Christine, the screen when it is closed up in its attached container (really cool idea) it is about 3 1/2 feet tall and about 8 or 10 inches wide.  it is a little heavy but manageable with the handle.  when you open it up it has multiple settings but will go from about 3 feet wide to more than 6 feet wide.  for the money this screen is about the best thing that I have seen out there and a really good product.  I am very happy with it.  if you are going to be transporting this or a lot of people will be handling the screen this is the product for you.  if you are looking for a super high end screen this is not it but if you are looking for a really really good mid range screen that will last forever this is a great screen and a even better value.
