The Fellowes 79Ci is a cross cut shredder having a security level of 3. With its throat size of 9", this cross cut shredder can easily shred multiple items such as paper clips, staples, credit cards and optical disks (CDs/DVDs). The Fellowes 79Ci shredder can cut through 14 sheets in a single shred cycle. 79Ci produces a cross cut particle size of 5/32" x 1-1/2". In addition, this cross cut shredder comes equipped with SilentShred™ technology that results in a noise free and super quiet shredding operation.
The Fellowes 79Ci is a 100% jam proof cross cut shredder that comes equipped with the SafeSense® technology. As a result, the shredder stops upon sensing any human interaction near its feed opening. In case of paper jams, this jam proof shredder triggers a paper reversal mechanism. This jam proof shredder comes with a 6 gallon pull out bin. This shredder can handle tough shredding jobs as it can run continuously for a period of 12 hours. Because of its in-built automatic start/stop feature this paper shredder starts shredding upon sensing paper near the feed opening. It automatically stops upon completing a specific shredding job.
