Pros: This is a fast android device at a reasonable price. With the cpu and extra RAM this device is very snappy.
Cons: When I receive a call, the phone rings and vibrates but nothing appears to allow me to answer the call. I think ASUS should put a higher priority on making sure things like this work 100% of the time for 100% of people. It is a phone after all so 50% of its most basic function is broken. Otherwise I would be giving a 4 or 5 egg review. See other thoughts for more cons...
Overall Review: I do not like the apps that come with this device. Most are redundant, and or useless and full of ads. I do not believe the ratings for these apps are genuine either. The worst part is that you not only can't uninstall these apps (normal) you can't even disable most of them, and they are constantly offering to update themselves.
Pros: A very good phone for a very good price. Came with useful apps. Flexible to turn the apps on and off. It's not hard to use but for someone who just switched from iOS, I took some time to check out all the features and figure things out. It's a very good phone.
Cons: Tends to heat up a bit but I don't think it's serious.
Pros: Fast compared to my 4 yr old Galaxy 2.
Cons: There seems to be a problem with calling. Out of the box everything seemed to be OK. Next morning calls could only be made or answered by using the loud speaker. Called Asus support and reported the problem. The person I got was no help at all. I'm not sure he even understood what the problem was. He said he did not hear of any similar problems. Searching the internet I found that it is a common problem. One person said that the he used a pin to clean out the headphone jack. I only had the phone for one day never had it in my pocket so the could not be any pocket lint. I didn't think a metal pin was a good thing to do so I just blew into the jack socket and it has been working for about a week with no issues. I have no idea if what I did was the fix. There seems to be a problem with the headphone jack from what I read from others on the net. I put a small piece of Scotch tape to cover the hole to be on the safe side, not very technical but seems to be working. I still like the phone but not the support.
Pros: FAST, 5.5" screen. First 4 gig Ram Phone, Runs with the big boys, no longer do you have to have contract do to the overpriced 700-900 dollar flagship phones.. 300$ and you own it. Duel Sim card slot. Asus could runaway with this as the phone of 2015 if they get with the software program.. They have a gem on there hands..
Cons: Asus needs to get with the program and get the next os up to date.
Lollipop 5.0 does not cut it. Asus you are out selling almost every other phone in this range. , You get your software up to date and you will be a top tier contender instead of a unknown phone manufactuer.
Overall Review: A rare overlooked gem.
Pros: I like this phone. Big screen. Budget.
Cons: Having hard time to use the phone under bright sun light. My phone get hot right at the front speaker where you put your ear over for phone conversation. I didn't really notice this issue until today. I was talking to my friend over the phone, not on headset, not on speaker. After a few minutes of talking. I was forced to end the phone call because I feel burn over my ear. I can't keep my ear over my phone due to the heat from my phone. I just emailed to Asus tech support. I hope they will do something about it. Does anyone have the same issue? Or I am having bad luck!
Pros: Really fast phone and keeps battery for me for almost 2 days. Screen is beautiful and very responsive, multitasking is a breeze, has super fast 4G,LTE service, works great on straight talk and other GSM carriers. my favorite thing about his phone is the double tap to wake and a lot of the asus features are pretty nifty and very useful, The GPS is really quick to pick up and very precise compared to my last 2 phones. So far it doesn't have a lot of bloat ware that i don't find useful the clean up tool that is included works pretty well (though it is ad supported) asus is keeping it up to date as well I've had it for about a month and have had 2 updates so far not for the android direct software but the asus zen ui with no changes to the functionality of the phone the sound quality is really good but not the best.
Cons: Non removable battery why it doesn't get a full 5 eggs Getting a case takes about 2 weeks from econobay is tough try not to scratch or drop the phone while you wait for one. The ones that asus offers should be included with the phone when you buy it makes no sense to offer something like that for a no contract phone and not just charge a bit extra for including it with the phone or at least include a screen protector.
Overall Review: For the price and what you get its pretty unbeatable a 3 dollar screen protector should still be included with it tho. I would recommend a kickstand/fly grip for this phone it helps in keeping it more firmly in your hand since the back is curved it slides a bit more easily.
Pros: The amount of of ROM ram is incredible and makes for an unmatched performance when it comes to multitasking, on-board memory (DDR3) also working in dual channel mode makes rendering graphics an ease, even expansion option of up to 64GB external storage (MicroSD) is awesome, 1080P screen resolution is respectable, Intel quad core chip clocked at 2.3Ghz makes everything from low-high intensive processing supper smooth and fast, unlocked to any GSM carrier (AT&T, T-Mobile), design and 5.5inch screen to top it all off makes this phone hard to beat for the price!
Cons: The power button is completely in the wrong place whoever at Asus came up with that idea needs to be immediately fired for incompetence, screen brightness is insufficient in outdoor conditions but okay indoors, only AT&T and T-Mobile GSM based networks work no others, second SIM slot only pushes 2G network, the amount of bloatware Asus pre-installed onto the device is just unbelievable to the point that it drastically hurts battery performance overall, small single rear mounted speaker makes for terrible sound quality :/
Overall Review: Overall, for its price this phone is tough to beat especially when compared to the rest of the competition. Its definitely the best bang for the buck!

2) Power Button doesn't quite have enough 'Springiness' to it.
Overall Review: In some Benchmark Tests, the Zenfone 2 beat my OnePlus One and in others my OnePlus One beats my Zenfone 2. Both the Zenfone 2 and the OnePlus One are better than most other phones out there! Especially considering their Price Points! I've seen the Zenfone 2 compared to the LG G4 by a Tech Reviewers Online using Real-world Scenarios and the LG G4 won in 13 of the 24 individual Tests and the Zenfone 2 won in 11 of the 24 individual Tests. There you have it! For the money, you CAN'T BEAT the Zenfone 2! 😃
