How many disks does it play?

Great little stereo. It only holds one disc.

is there some way to plug in my iphone?

Connect a 3.5mm audio cable to the 3.5MM AUDIO InPUT on the back of the music system and an audio ouptut on an MP3 player or other audio source. --- this is from the manual

I do not know as we do not use mp3 cds.
