Pros: Works great with my 111D burner, had 40 wire cables and switched to this and not a coaster yet, unlike my 40 wire IDE cables.
Cons: None so far.
Overall Review: A good choice.
Pros: Was able to fit it into my OG Xbox and now have increased HDD and DVD speeds! I'm getting about 4mb/s on DVD2Xbox and better loading on games. Also good when paired with a newer, larger capacity hard drive.
Cons: The cable is somewhat short, and was a tight fit in the Xbox. It required a lot of folding and smushing to get it in and I was afraid I might break something.
Overall Review: For Xbox, it might be easier to use a longer cable
Pros: Just exactly like the one that comes with every new motherboard.
Overall Review: Lesson learned: factory cables are 18" long! Not cost-effective to RMA.
Pros: This cable is made better than some different brand cables I have used in the past. I like that 80 conductor cables have color coded connections.
Overall Review: In general, StarTech cables have always performed well for me.
Pros: Just like OEM cables that come with new motherboards. No complaints. Does what it's supposed to do.
Overall Review: Fast shipping from Newegg. Thanks guys.
Cons: Blue plug was loose and computer couldn't see Hard drive.
Overall Review: I bought a docking station and was able to see hard drive. This cable didn't work out of the box.
Pros: Very well made, meets Ultra ATA 66/100/133 for upto two devices. The master/slave configurations have to be decided by jumpers on the drives - the positions on the cables are interchangeable.
Cons: No cons - except they are not like the round cables and might create some obstruction to airflows.
Pros: Very nice quality cable with tight grouping and good flexibility. Worked great for a replacement cable on PC and the original Xbox.
Cons: If getting for your original Xbox, I'd suggest getting the larger size, this was a bit too close for comfort on length.
