To steam food, press "on" and set the cooking time by pressing the up and down arrows. When food is ready, it alerts you with a beep and switches to keep warm for 1 hour. The delay start function lets you fill the steamer with produce or rice in advance and begin steaming up to 24 hours later (do not use for raw seafood or meat).
