Overall Review: I bought this so my wife could control our Direct TV receiver from her HTPC, but it usually only successfully changes the channel about half the time. I've tried moving the IR sender, changing the IR transmit speed to fast, medium and slow. Medium seems to work the best but usually when I change channels the receiver only accepts 2 out of the 3 numbers. I can't tell for sure if this is the problem or the receiver but bottom line this isn't really working for me.

Pros: plugged it in to my Vista Ultimate box and recognized it without needing any drivers.

Cons: Remote feels a bit cheesy, and I have to press the buttons a couple of times some of the time(could be my system and not remote's fault), overall, I am satisfied with the product since it was only $30.

Overall Review: Good product for the money, I would probably buy another if I was putting together another Media Center PC

Pros: The remote works however I declined to give it a 5 star due to a small range for the IR and one other detail you will see below in the Cons.

Cons: My big grip with this remote is that the "windows media button" (the green one) powers on my Xbox360 which is sitting just above my computer. So, if you have your IR recv for this device anywhere close to your Xbox360, plan to have some undesirable things occur.

Overall Review: I hate aiming remotes and I dislike remotes that control other devices they were not designed to control. Something to keep in mind. But assuming you don't have a 360 and you aren't lazy like myself and are willing to lift your arm to aim before firing...this product should suite you fine.

Overall Review: I thought this would only work with Media Center, but to my pleasant surprise found it will work with PowerDVD and Arcsoft TotalMedia Theater outside of Media Center.

Pros: Works great, plug and play, with Vista. It's nice to have the ability to sit back and start a DVD or CD that is on the computer by remote.

Pros: Works well, has enough buttons for every action in Vista's Media Center, long USB cable, nice suction cup included for attaching the receiver, IR blaster included, very satisfied overall.

Cons: Construction feels cheap. Seeing as how it's a Pinnacle product, I was expecting a bit more quality. It feels almost like cheap chinese-imported plastic and has an overall simplistic style and feel. Wish it had more buttons and/or software accompanying it for custom controls (like the ATI remotes).

Overall Review: I basically bought this for the receiver and not the controller since I have a Harmony remote but I still wish I could have a couple of extra programmable buttons. The product, and its application, work excellent, but it loses an egg for not going the extra mile - especailly coming from a conglomerate company like Pinnacle.

Pros: Took minimal effort to set up, works well with XPMCE 2005

Overall Review: had to buy this due to HP not shipping the IR kit with the computer I bought for my daughter. Bad HP, no soup for you.......

Pros: Works great with Vista. I use it with my laptop to watch videos on my TV. I ran an S-video and audio cables to my bedroom TV from the laptop. Now I can watch movies with out touching both the laptop and tv.

Overall Review: Wish it had a backlight.
