What about windows 10 how does it work with as 10 doesn't have media center?

It works just fine with Windows 10.  It comes with it's own software, which you may need to update from their website.  But watching TV worked great, once I figured out I needed to give the software Administrative Privileges.  If you are trying to serve up recordings to other devices though, I haven't played around with that yet.  But if the regular TV's are tied up, I can watch over the air TV on my computer, when I want.  The trickiest part was figuring out where to mount the sensor for the remote control.

Anyone have this working with Windows Media Center yet?  I'm still running Win 7 with WMC.

Have not tryed it yet but will run on windows 10 there other programs to use on this item why don't u get windows 10 and get it working and try other programs software you can find on the network that will blow wmc out the water

What kind of antenna can be used with this tuner? I don't live in to great of spot, so I am trying to figure out what kind of antenna is required, thanks in advance for the insight and help, much appreciated!

As far as I know, any digital antenna should work.  The first antenna I purchased wasn't that great, but I bought it when I first purchased my 1080p TV.  When I purchased this card, I looked into things a little more.  I found out the antennas for my local channels were between 50 and 60 miles away so I ended up purchasing a powered antenna with a 60 mile range.  I didn't want to run wires outside so I purchased an indoor antenna.  I don't remember the web address, but I found through google a website that recommends antennas and gives distance to your local TV stations broadcast antennas.  With that information, I ended up with 'Leaf Ultimate' amplified indoor HDTV Antenna (60 mile range).  It has worked quite a bit better then the cheap antenna I purchased several years ago.

Will this card process an analog signal from a VHS player?

Will this unit be compatible with Ubuntu?

They just implemented support for this recently in the linux media so you have to download the latest media-build from linuxtv and follow the step by step instructions to apply and rebuild the kernel.  Once the kernel is rebuilt with the patch, it works great.

Will this card work with Win-TV8 ? Can I run all 4 simultaneous in 4 Win TV* windows? That would be awesome on my 40" 4K Samsung panel.

It will indeed work for Win-TV8 giving you HD resolution (not 4K). Yes, four HD tuners (for recording), but the PCIe buss & PC will not support four (HD video) windows at the same time.

It works flawlessly with my off air antenna and local digital stations. Not being in NYC, don't know for sure if it will work. Will need to re-sync to that box.

I'm trying to find something reliable that will process an Analog (NTSC) input from a VHS player. Will this card support/process NTSC Analog inputs?

It appears that you are actually looking for a "Video" capture card, instead of a TV Tuner. Years ago, Hauppauge released the HVR1800 series had two features. A TV Tuner, plus inputs for RCA video (Composite) and RCA audio. Since then Hauppauge released a high definition card named  Colossus 1 & 2. I have the first version, and it came with a RGB /input/ adapter for video/ Optical & RCA inputs for audio.

The recent version, Colossus 2 has one input for HDMI and one Output for HDMI. An Optical Input for a second audio source. Should you use the second version, you would have to purchase a Composite video to HDMI converter. Yes, there should be a RCA jack for audio as well.
