Pros: I've already reviewed this product once but I just want to come back and share some more information. From what i can tell, rails one and two are dedicated just to the PCI cords on the supply. and to make things even easier on us, they nicely labeled which rail the connectors are attached to. this is to keep from overloading one rail, but i have a feeling some of you complaining about your PC shutting down don't realize this (because i didn't at first lol). i made my build with one radeon 3870 originally. worked fine. the card used one PCI 6 pin wire. recently i just added a 3870X2 card (yes, you can crossfire a X2 with a single GPU card). this 3870X2 required both a 6 and an 8 pin connector, so i grabbed the wires at random. come game time my PC shut down during crysis. upon inspection i realized that i was using all wires on rail 2. duh! so, i switched out the 8 pin for the one on rail 1. ...continue down...

Cons: this made it so that i had the two 6 pin connectors running off rail 2 and the 8 pin running off of rail one. i rebooted my computer and everything was fine, so i decided to put it under load and booted crysis back up. well, i just got done with a 2 hour session of crysis and my PC never flinched. now, i'm not saying this is everyone's problem, because DoAs happen, but this is definitively something that should be kept in mind when building your PC with this supply.

Overall Review: sometimes you think you know everything about what you're doing and you miss something like this.

Pros: long cables= cable management made easy. good airflow. i have been using this psu for 5 months now and it works great. lots of pci x that come labeled. take a look at the side stick on psu. it is higher that 750

Overall Review: do not use the extra 4 pin attached to the 20pin if your mobo is a 20 pin. put some electric tape around it and leave it alone. lol use the 4-8 pin like you are suppose to.

Pros: there is nothing wrong with this power supply, when i read other reviews i had my doubts, but then i figured out the source of everyones problem. When plugging in this power supply to a graphics card for example and it requires two cables, you are suppose to use two cables that belong to two seperate rails. the problem is that power supplies that come with multiple rails have a fail safe. in this case this psu has a 19A limit on each rail and lets say a graphics card needs 25A of current. If you plug in two connectors that belong to that single rail it will shut down because there is not enough current to power it on, and to avoid damage it will shut down. i have been using this power supply to power on a very high end card, i have been playing demanding games and nothing has gone wrong because i set it up correctly

Overall Review: its all a matter of doing your homework, the 6pin and 8pins are labeled which rail they belong too... be sure to read the label before plugging them in

Pros: Much needed upgrade over last PSU. Quiet and delivers power and performance as I expected. Price is great on sale and with discounts. Handles 5 hard drives, PII 965, GTX 275 and I threw in a GTX 260 I had lying around and it handles everything perfectly. Quality is fine, comes with plenty of connections and great cable sizes.

Cons: For the most part I got what I expected so I'm not going to con what is expected for a deeply discounted PSU.

Overall Review: $30-40 more you could have an Antec or Corsair 750 PSU (after discounts/rebates etc). I decided to try the HEC and I am pleased. Time will tell how it will hold up, but in 3 years after warranty ends I'd probably look for another PSU anyway.

Pros: I am confused with all of these people saying that this psu can't handle their 8800gtx or 4870. As we speak, this PSU powers a GTX 295, and a 9800 GX2 (physx) and it has never failed on me. I know that only one of the cards on the 9800 GX2 is actually in use during games, but it has behaved like a champ. I play Geometry Wars, Romance of the Three Kingdoms, Defense Grid, Crysis, Rise of Nations, Street Fighter, Ghostbusters, Batman Arkham, etc, and run Video editing software on my 28 inch LCD. Not once has it died on me.

Cons: It did take some fidgeting around with to get it working initally, compared to my previous hard drive. Not modular but I knew that going into the purchase.

I've had this for over a year and a half, and a few days ago I purchased a 1000w modular so that I can upgrayedd in the future, and bcuz with everythang I have, my case is cluttered. Pros: Lots of versital connectors,long leads,solid stable power,looks good. I have bought at least 10 of these from newegg & everyone has performed flawlessly. I build & sell custom gaming systems & they work great for me. I have run so many stress test & benchmark with these PS's that I have lost count.These are test with 9800gx2 videocards & other sli setups.I also use the zepher 650 in lesser systems & they too have been perfect for over a year now.No complaints.

Cons: None for me.

Overall Review: I read of failures & happy campers. Guess sometimes ya just get a bad one. But have you read about any part that someone didnt have a problem with?

Pros: After a lot of debate over a new power supply, I finally decided on this one. It had a 750W rating, so I was sure it could handle 2 2900PRO's if needed. It has 2 fans an intake and an exhaust. It has Blue LED's which match all my other Blue LED's. It has an insane amount of cables to hook up everything imaginable. All the cables are covered in a sheething that keeps them wrapped up tight. They include these velcro ties which I love, and use to strap everything together. The PSU case is like a metallic mirror, and looks shiny. Most of the plugs have snaps that snap firmly to whatever your snapping them to. They also have these little plastic unconnectors built in, you just squeeze them and they make unplugging stuff a lot easier.

Cons: The main con I had was the size of the PSU. It was bigger then my last one and conflicted with my PC Case top fan. I ended up having to move this fan to the outside of my case. Which I like better now, because the Blue LED's are displayed better. This isn't the PSU's fault, I guess I just need a larger case, but it may cause a similar situation if you have a top fan.

Overall Review: I currently have this PSU supplying power to a good amount of devices. 2 DVD Burners, 2 IDE HD's. 2 SATA HD's, Motherboard, Floppy, MultiMedia Card Reader, ATI 2900PRO, and 6 fans. When using the 20+4 power supply, make sure you place the 4 pin plug underneath the 20 pin plug. I like how the 6 PIN + 8 PIN Graphic card power is on the same cable, plus an additional cable like this, if you have 2 GPU's. I had 3-4 cables left over that I didn't use. A 4 SATA rail, A 6+8 Pin PCIe rail, and I think 2 6 Pin PCIe rails. I also didn't use like 3 of the 7 4-Pin DVD/HD plugs. So you can see how much stuff this PSU can handle.

Pros: No hardware problems, easy to install and use.

Cons: My goodness! The cords inside are a cluster**** compared to the power source I just bought for another computer. I have a Cooler Master HAF+ case, and the cords make it seem like a micro case! If you're going to use this power system, make sure you invest in cord clips. If you do not, your fans will suck the cords right into them. They hang loose all over the place. It is dangerous if you don't get it taken care of.

Overall Review: On the plus side of the clutter, the cord clusters are covered in some sort of meshing. That helps to reduce the clutter, but it's still overwhelming. But for the price, it's a good buy.
