Pros: The cooling on this card might be the quietest thing in my HTPC case. I can't even hear it with my ear next to it but it's definitely working pumping warm air out the back of the case. The desktop looks much sharper than the HD3200 IGP it replaced and it supports many more resolutions, including the 768p native resolution of my plasma (1366x768). Overall the system seems much faster. WEI went from 3.5 to 6.1 for graphics and brought the overall system from 3.5 to 5.5. Of course, 1080p HD video plays just fine. I haven't tried 7.1 bitstreaming yet but that will hopefully be a pro in the near future since this card is being used in my HTPC setup.

Cons: This card is not supported by the latest ATI CCC 10.1 drivers. Attempting to install these drivers appears to install but instead fails silently. Attempting to install the correct drivers on top of what got half installed leads to all kinds of strange problems like "Video Error" in W7MC which is not helpful at all. Do not install the latest drivers from the ATI website. Install the latest Redwood drivers only. Hopefully 10.2 will support the 5670. For now the 8.69 RC3 drivers are working fine.

Overall Review: People who don't own the card should stop writing reviews for it. This IS NOT a discussion forum. Your ratings skew the real experience people who actually own the card are providing. Pros: Full on high def codec bitstreaming NO noice at all Runs 1080p without breaking a sweat

Cons: A sub $100 card which cannot play games as if it was a $500 card. It does not go to the kitchen and make me a sandwich.

Overall Review: This is the ultimate for HTPC users. It is also dead silent. And not dead as in Left for Dead silent...those guys are pretty noisy. This is dead as in real life dead...totally silent. It is a great card those who do not need the power for FPS games.

Pros: Excellent card, nice bang for your buck. This card is going to run your later games on high settings with 4-8x Anti-Aliasing without a studder. I've testing this card on Crysis all high 4x anti-aliasing, I pull anywhere from 25-60FPS. I also pull high fps on max settings on "Battlefield: Bad Company 2" Borderlands is another game that runs incredible on this card.

Cons: The only con for this card is it has 512MB, but it still works excellent.

Overall Review: PCIE 2.1 is no big deal, nothing to brag about. GDDR5 is nice and I like the crossfire support, I will most likely buy a new motherboard for crossfire.

Pros: Dead silent (or nearly so), all the video decoding bells and whistles, fine for moderate gaming.

Cons: The reference idle clock speeds for this card are supposed to be 157MHz core, 300MHz memory, but mine idled at 600/1000, respectively. This kind of negates the 5000-series' excellent idle power capabilities. A bit of reading, and I found out that this is an intentional move on the part of HIS. Bizarre. Also lousy for use in an HTPC, where it is idle or near idle most of the time.

Overall Review: Some scary BIOS tweaking enabled me to bring the idle clocks down to reference speeds, and my idle power consumption dropped 10 watts!

Pros: I'm not a big gamer, so this card works great for me without breaking the bank. My computer is mainly for photo editing and watching movies so I don't need much. Just something quiet like this. Handles full screen (1080p) video fine with no tearing. Blows the hot air out the back Plays the original Half-Life fine at 1920x1080 ;)

Cons: Runs a little hot I guess. CCC shows it at 49C just typing this review.

Overall Review: Just what I need. It's near silent from 3 feet away while idle which is all the time. Messing around with ATI Overdrive I put the fan at 100% and it's still barely noticeable. Cons: would have preferred a 1GB version but this was on sale

Pros: Very quiet compared to previous high pitched whine from a 3650 card. DTS HD Master bitstreaming to AVR works.

Cons: Idle GPU is running at 600/900 MHz. Seems high.

Overall Review: Driver related problems, probably common for all 5670 cards: Had to Google to find temporary drivers as Catalyst 10.1 did not work. Dolby TrueHD bitstreaming is currently broken. ATI PowerPlay (GPU freq changes for power save) causes glitches and pops in audio over HDMI unless disabled with a rather complicated hack. (Long) list of known problems with HDMI audio on 5xxx cards.

Pros: Very good video card, does what I want very well. Good card for a budget gamer, can pretty much play anything at high-maxed out settings at my resolution of 1400x900. Stays cool and is really quiet. The most important thing is the PRICE though, very cheap for very good performance.

Cons: None.

Overall Review: Upgrade from a HD 4670, I know, not much of an upgrade but it made a big difference for me. Got the 512MB version of the 5670 because benchmarks show that the extra 512MB on the 1GB version makes no difference unless you play at 2560x1600, which this card wouldn't be able to handle anyways.
