Pros: Its not a Nvidia Vs ATI thing, its a price performance thing, and this card delivers. Knowing that you can run any game currently available or yet to come is gamers piece of mind. Future compatibility is icing on the cake.

Cons: Online reviews have raised concerns about the driver included with the card not working. The driver that came with the card did not work for me, validating those concerns. A quick download from AMD's gamers page fixed this issue quick however.

Overall Review: The trend of grossly expensive video cards is slowly getting better. It has not been that long since $200 cards were mid to low end!! $260 for performance that the competitor would usually charge over $500 for makes competition a sweet thing for the consumer!

Pros: This card runs cool at stock speeds. I have the GPU over clocked at 775 MHz which is the limit in ATI catalyst control center!... I have a feeling the GPU will go much higher, so I plan on finding alternate utilities to get it there. I have not had a chance to really play with the memory above a 20 MHz OC. I get a bit standoffish when playing with graphics memory.

Cons: None.

Overall Review: I set the fan to run at 60% while overclocked and it is a bit annoying with that constant hum. If you plan to OC, you might want to find an alternate cooling solution. Also, The card is not showing up in AMD overdrive. There may be a newer version since I last checked to resolve this. I really think there is a lot of headroom in any of these 58XX cards and the stock speeds are kept just fast enough to beat the competitions current offerings. I would not be surprised to see a bump in speeds as soon as the NV guys respond.

Pros: this card stays really cool, and uses less power than a 4890. my first ati card, and the catalyst software is easy to use. this thing if so fast!

Cons: watch out for small cases -large card with power connection at the end of the card

Overall Review: HIS is a great brand for video cards

Pros: ATI has built a family of cards that cater perfectly to the enthusiast. This 5850 isn't going to scream, but it costs about half of what the industry wants to call a "high-end gamer" card. And yet, it does rip through anything I've played so far without the slightest complaint. The HIS card in particular seems great quality, and I've had absolutely nothing but great experiences so far.

Cons: None whatsoever with this video card...however...

Overall Review: Dirt 2 is the most terrible port from an Xbox game I have ever experienced. I think the game actually BELIEVES it's playing on a 360. No mouse support, XboX Live signup mandatory...it is effectively a painfully slow way to demo DirectX11. It sure is pretty...but man does it suck.

Pros: This card is simply amazing, coming from a GTX 260 (not a 216 core) this was a big step up. Not to mention I had nothing but problems with the GT200 series cards. I decided to change it up a bit, and wow. I'm trying to figure out why I went Nvidia to begin with. You can't hear this card, it runs a lot cooler than previous Radeon series cards. If you are looking for an upgrade at a great price, look no further.

Cons: It didn't pay for/install itself.

Overall Review: It won't really matter what Nvidia does with their new cards, they've dropped the ball in my opinion, and have lost quality in their products. Just bloating the price on essentially the same cards every year got old. ATI has caught and surpassed Nvidia in the Video Card race. I doubt I will go back to Nvidia.

Pros: Destroys games at 1920 x 1080. This card is quiet under load vs. my old card and just looks and runs great.

Cons: Huge! Make sure you have enough space. Running this in Crossfire would elimate any PCI slots if you needed them.

Pros: Very fast and cool. Excellent Card! Beats my Crossfire 4850's

Cons: At this point in Time only the beta drivers are available and they have some issues!

Pros: This card is powerful and can handle anything I throw at it, even at maxed out settings. Good for the money. This card has won me over to ATI! Card feels solid, and it is alot cooler than my previous EVGA nvidia 8800GTS.

Cons: none that i can see so far!

Overall Review: I always bought nvidia but for the money this card is much better. Plus I have had two nvidia cards die on me, and plus they run extremely hot! Well ATI you have a new customer :). Keep up the good work!
