HP 5830AF-48G Layer 3 Switch

HP 5830 Switch Series offers high-density, gigabit and 10 gigabit per second (Gbps) data center top-of-rack, as well as campus, and service provider aggregation or access deployments. The HP 5830AF-48G Switch w/1 Interface Slot provides 48 GbE, and up to four 10 GbE ports. The HP 5830AF-96G Switch delivers 96 GbE ports and up to ten 10 GbE uplinks. HP 5830 Switch Series adopts ultra-deep packet buffering (1GB and 3GB for 1RU and 2RU respectively), to eliminate the network congestion at the I/O associated with heavy use of server virtualization, as well as bursty multimedia, storage applications and other critical services. In addition, the HP 5830 Switch Series is also data center optimized design, supporting redundant hot-swappable power supplies and fans to ensure hardware availability, front-to-back or back-to-front airflow hot and cold aisle isolation requirements, and low power consumption to optimize operating power and reduce operating expenses.
