Recommended For

• Office and hybrid workers who move between meetings and a desk, and want a 14-inch touchscreen business laptop with Windows 11 Pro and Thunderbolt 4 connectivity.
• People who keep many work apps, browser tabs, and documents open at once; this listing’s 32GB of RAM suits busy multitasking workflows.
• Desk-based professionals who connect external displays, docks, or other accessories; the EliteBook 840 G11 review highlights its Thunderbolt 4 and USB-A port selection.
• Professionals who need a business-class laptop for CPU-focused daily work, such as large spreadsheets, presentations, and frequent app switching, rather than graphics-heavy tasks.

Real-World Use Scenarios

• For a typical office workload—editing documents and spreadsheets while keeping email, browser tabs, and work apps open—the EliteBook 840 G11 is positioned and reviewed as a business laptop suited to everyday multitasking.
• In hybrid meetings, users can join video calls and switch between meeting software, notes, and shared documents; HP positions the model for collaboration and hybrid work, with a built-in webcam and microphones.
• At a fixed desk, users can connect external displays and peripherals through a compatible Thunderbolt dock or use HDMI for a display; this suits a setup that shifts between desk work and carrying the laptop to meetings.
• For reviewing slides, forms, or documents in a meeting, users can tap and scroll directly on the touchscreen instead of relying only on the touchpad; the display is suited to general office work rather than color-critical design.
• For work away from a desk, such as taking notes between meetings or handling email while traveling, the 14-inch format supports portability; battery runtime will vary with workload, settings, and configuration, so users with long unplugged days should plan around access to power.
