Pros: It is more responsiveness than the Samsung 860Evo 1TB and the 840 Pro I had. Probably the best gb per cent ratio M.2 SSD out in the market currently. Currently I have written 3.8TB on the drive itself, for the 2TB version the SLC cache peaks out around 500GB file transfer. Meaning if you are moving a folder larger than 500GB at any given time, once the SLC cache peaks out you would see a substantially write down from 500-600mb/s range down to less than 10mb/s range. At 50% drive storage capacity read is at 3503mb/s and write 2843mb/s. At 83% drive storage capacity read at 3430mb/s and write 1396mb/s.
Cons: Runs normal at high 30s Celsius. However, during initiating drive for formatting (accidentally uncheck quick format) I saw it shoot up to 74C in matters of 2-3 minutes. Once I put a case fan directly over it, keep it down below 50C. Still a TLC drive with a large SLC caching. Write speed drop substantially after 80% drive storage capacity.
