Question 1

This listing is for DDR4 2666MHz but the description in the Overview tab states "HyperX Impact DDR4 automatically overclocks to the highest frequency published, up to 2400MHz" so which is it? I don't want to buy something that has to overclock itself to a frequency lower than what my PC is meant for.

Overclocking is a bad word for this. If both the processor and the motherboard support it, the memory will run at this speed. IIn my Dell laptop it was correctly identified as 2666Mhz.  Its an XMP profile set by the manufacturer, so its meant to run at that speed.

Question 2

Has anyone tried installing the 16GBx2 on an OMEN by HP - 15-ce018dx? I want to see if I can get away with installing 32GB instead of the limit of 16GB, as mentioned in the manual. The HP OS Systems Check tool, however, states that my laptop can handle 32GB.

Does this work with the Mac Mini?
I have the 2018 Mac Mini and considering a RAM upgrade.
Will this automatically set to 2666Mhz, or stay in 2133Mhz?

Although I did not use this RAM in a Mac Mini, in my experience this RAM will be driven at the highest usable speed -- 2666Mhz in my case. In basic laymen terms, RAM speed is determined by the CPU bus. If the CPU -CAN- utilize 2666Mhz, it will drive the bus, and thus the RAM, at that speed. Also, if your CPU wants to use a lower speed, you *could* go into the system settings and force it to go at a higher speed. However, this may result(no way to tell unless you try) in instabilities, weird glitches(corruptions), or random system wide crashes. BTW, this RAM is AWESOME, I would buy again .X

Will this work on 300 series chipsets too?

Yes it will, put it in for my coffee lake laptop, works really well. For whatever reason I was getting a lot of stuttering during PSX emulation with my old ram, this makes it a smooth experience. Just keep in mind they're SODIMM and not DIMM.

Question 5

Is this single or dual ranked RAM? Some laptops will not work with dual ranked RAM.

According to Kingston's data sheet the 16 GB modules are 2Rx8 and the 8 GB modules are 1Rx8.
