Pros: works great @ 1600
Overall Review: guy below me go into your BIOS and set them to 1600 if your on an AMD platmorm they default to 1333 not the memory's fault
Pros: excellent RAM for the money dont know what i did i changed NB voltage a little and a couple other things and my score is a 7.6 on my MEM now. So those of you looking at this memory please disregaurd my last review.
Cons: none at sll it was and ID10T error, user related
Overall Review: worth the money for sure
Pros: I originally ordered 8 GB of the Kingston ram, no problems at all. Today I have ordered a 2ns set of 8 GB to max my machine out to 16 GB.
Pros: Been working solid for about 6 months now. Does what RAM is supposed to do. Stays pretty cool and is solid at 1600MHz. Price is great too.
Cons: None...price hasn't dropped but a few bucks in the last 6 months?
Overall Review: For the most part RAM is RAM...as long as it works you're golden. I've always been a fan of Kingston though because they have great compatibility with systems, I've had only 1 DOA stick and 1 fail after extended use (I've used probably 50 or more sticks over the years), but Kingston is easy to deal with on the warranty replacement (which is lifetime) and all you have to do is provide proof of purchase and they cross-ship you a replacement. A lot of company's offer a lifetime warranty AS LONG AS YOU REGISTER the product within the first 30 days of purchase on their website...Kingston doesn't make you do that.
Pros: The price was right. The shipping was good. And a life time warranty, on one of the top makers of memory. I did a lot of checking around, about Kingston HyperX. And I was told that I couldn't go wrong buying Kingston HyperX. Thanks to Newegg I got it for even less then their sales prices.
Overall Review: Nothing much to say, does what it supposed to. I haven't overclocked it and don't intend to. Says to run at 1.65V but I have mine at 1.59 or so, no problems. Timings are excellent.
Pros: Plug and play with a Asrock 970 Extreme 3. So i'm happy :).(Had to go into bios and change speed manually).
Pros: Performs exactly as advertised. For those blaming the memory, you may want to look at your motherboard instead. These modules are certified by Asus for my Z68 board and are running rock solid at 1648MHz. You did read your manual, right? Great purchase.
Cons: Not a big fan of the baby blue color of the heat spreaders. It clashes with the rest of my rig. :-)
