Can anyone using two 2TB+ 7200RPM drives on this enclosure post up their average temperatures under load?

Temperature varies between drives and usage loads, I have never seen my pair of 5400 RPM drives go above 26C in this enclosure with the fan on, and a sustained write lasting several hours. 7200 RPM drives only add a few degrees, estimate for about 32C maximum for two drives running sustained long lasting writes.
My office temp varies between varies between 21C to 28C.

What happens if you accidentally move the switch after you have data on the drives?

I suppose that's theoretically possible, but the switch is fairly deeply recessed and really needs a tool like a pen or small screwdriver to move.  I wouldn't worry about it.
