I brought 15 of these trays and running performance on a linux machine with Samsung 850 Pro on SATA 6.0Gb/s interface. Port 1 works fine, got expected >500MB/s R/W, port 2-4 didn't work. Reporting SATA bus errors on /var/log/messages and down-negotiated to SATA 3.0Gb/s link speed, the R/W speed drops down to ~280MB/s. Is there quality issue with the PCB? Connectors? tested multiple trays with wide-range serial number.

Mine have worked fine. I use it with the boot drive in upper left, and the backup boot drive is cloned to lower right, with spare backup boot drives in the other two slots (door closed so tray won't go all the way in). Clone goes really fast on SSD's.
