Question 1

How many pins are the power connectors for the motherboard?  Looking to find out if this has 24 pin and 8 pin power connectors that go into the motherboard.

Accepted Answer

Great space saver, limited with upgrades such as video cards which everything is low profile and limited power supply options. got it for the wife which I used everything intel stocked.

Question 2

How much clearance does the INWIN BL631.FF300TB3F R case provide for PSU installation and cable routing behind the motherboard tray?

Accepted Answer

The InWin BL631.FF300TB3F case has limited clearance behind the motherboard tray for PSU installation and cable routing due to its compact mATX design and integrated 300W TFX PSU. The space behind the tray is typically tight, accommodating only slim cables and minimal slack, which means careful cable management is needed to avoid bulging or airflow obstruction.

Because the case prioritizes a small footprint, it’s not ideal if you plan to use thick sleeved cables or extensive cable extensions. If your build requires more spacious routing or easier access, a larger mid-tower with a deeper tray might provide better flexibility. This case works best with streamlined builds focused on efficiency rather than maximum expandability.

Question 3

What new features or improvements does the INWIN BL631.FF300TB3F R case offer compared to the previous generation models?

Accepted Answer

Compared to previous generations, the InWin BL631.FF300TB3F integrates a 300W TFX power supply directly, which simplifies building a compact mATX system without hunting for a separate PSU. It also features IEEE 1394 support, which is less common these days, catering to users who still rely on FireWire peripherals. The case prioritizes a minimalist design in black while maintaining solid airflow for its size.

One thing to keep in mind is that the built-in 300W PSU is on the lower end for high-powered GPUs or CPU combos, so this case is best suited for office builds or light gaming rigs rather than heavy gaming or workstation setups. If you need more power, you'll have to consider an external PSU and possibly a different case, but for standard mATX builds, this model streamlines the process with its all-in-one approach.

Question 4

How does the cooling efficiency of the INWIN BL631.FF300TB3F compare to the NZXT H510 affect GPU temperatures and performance in 1080p gaming?

Accepted Answer

The InWin BL631.FF300TB3F has decent airflow for an mATX case with a built-in 300W PSU, but it generally won’t cool a high-end GPU as efficiently as the NZXT H510, which is known for better ventilation and more fan options. As a result, expect slightly higher GPU temperatures under load in 1080p gaming, which may impact sustained boost clocks if your card runs hot.

If you’re running a mid-range GPU or are fine with moderate noise levels, the BL631’s cooling should be okay, especially if you add aftermarket fans or improve cable management. However, for heavy gaming sessions or overclocking, the NZXT’s cooler setup might help maintain better performance and quieter operation.

Question 5

How does the airflow and cooling design of the CASE INWIN|BL631.FF300TB3F R impact system performance during extended high-load gaming or multitasking sessions?

Accepted Answer

The case is designed with good airflow and cooling support, including Partition Plate Cooling Technology, a rear 80mm fan option, and a side air duct, which can help support system cooling during use.

Question 6

What kind of USB ports does this case have?

Accepted Answer

The case has 2 USB 2.0 ports and 2 USB 3.0 ports on the front panel.

Question 7

What is the power supply capacity of the InWin BL631.FF300TB3F case?

Accepted Answer

The power supply capacity of the InWin BL631.FF300TB3F case is 300W.

Question 8

Can the power supply unit (PSU) in this case be replaced?

Accepted Answer

Yes.

Question 9

Will it fit the Ryzen 3 3200G stock cooler?

Accepted Answer

The maximum CPU cooler height supported by the InWin BL631 mATX Desktop case is 72 mm.
