-Numpad/Backlit keyboard/Fingerprint sensor
-No Windows S insult to intelligence
-Decent trackpad and keyboard
Overall Review: My main gripe about this is the display. It's cheap, washed out and dim. It's funny that ASUS advertises the "nano FPS nuclear headshot EXTREME display " or whatever as a selling point - it's by far the worst part of the laptop. The keyboard is middling, the trackpad is responsive and mostly accurate but kind of loose, and then everything else is excellent. The processor is VERY good for a non-gpu productivity kind of machine. It's just the bothersome display that I personally would have paid another hundred or so for a better version of.
Cons: Screen could be a bit better. Wish It was slightly brighter at max, and the contrast is a little off with greys turning closer to whites. Speakers don't get very loud but are pretty clear.
Overall Review: Great for the price.
Pros: I've been on this new laptop for about a month, and nothing but good things to say about it. It's fast, has plenty of capacity (HDD, memory), and the video performance is excellent. I'm not a gamer, just a video, email, web browsing person and this system is really more than I need - but I found it also has some pretty intense video game capability as I was compelled by my kids to dabble in Sea of Thieves - they being more into gaming were surprised and impressed by the performance of "just a laptop". As a senior citizen, I do appreciate the larger font on the keyboard and also the backlit keys. Construction is solid, no loose or questionable fit on the unit. Best of all was the price - I shopped around quite a bit and no one no where had a compatible system as fully featured as this one did with anything like a compatible price.
Cons: My only negative comment here has nothing to do with the laptop itself, but with delivery of the system. I did not receive tracking information on the shipping, and just happened to log on to NewEgg to find out the progress, only to find out it had been left on the front porch. I had requested delivery ring the doorbell - who wants their laptop sitting in the elements? - but that did not happen.
Overall Review: If you're looking for a system with great specs and matching performance and want it at a great price - this is it!
Pros: The laptop is super fast (it turns on at 5 sec)
The laptop is super quiet
The keyboard has a lot of usefull hotkeys(screen shot, camera,my asus and more) and a backlit
The price is very cheap for the performance
Cons: The screen is not anti-glare as mentioned in the specs menu and you can see that in the photo
The surface of the laptop is made of metal and its good but the problem that it leaves patches when you touch it
The last problem is that there's a misprint in the laptop name, as his name suppose to be M513UA not S513
Overall Review: The laptop is almost perfect at all points unless that it is not anti-glare as mentioned in the specs and the surfaces leave patches but it still worth spending your money on this laptop
note: I am receiving a warranty extension from Asus for my feedback
Cons: While on WebEx calls, sound and microphone stop working. I go back in and reselect the headphone and it still doesn't work. I then unplug it and select the computer's speaker/microphone and it works. I also had problems with the camera when I upgraded to Windows 11.
Overall Review: Good but with the problems, probably not worth the money.
Cons: The screen is curved
Not flat , which is a sad thing .
I think the manufacturing quality is not good, which caused a curvature in the screen.
Also, the screen is soft, not strong, and it can bend and bend.
Battery quality is not suitable, does not last long
Screen colors are faded
There are also strange and annoying auras when the screen is black
Overall Review: The specifications in the shape are not accurate, the design I did not like because there is a curvature on the screen contrary to the pictures
Pros: Bang for the price
Cons: Sever screen backlight bleed even on 50% brightness.
Average battery life 5-6 hours maximum for light usage
Overall Review: Sever screen backlight bleeds, expected at the price
Pros: The VivoBook was fairly easy to set up, has behaved well, and runs everything I've installed on it to this point beautifully. It's also by far the lightest laptop I've owned.
Cons: I will never like Win10, but that's no fault of the machine itself.
Overall Review: Purchased this machine primarily for the ability to write and check email/browse on the go, and it's working very well for that.
