The metal body makes for the sturdiness and solidness of the stand, the height is easily adjustable from 10.2" to 15" with a locking clutch. The MAX load is 3.3lbs, with 3/8" and 5/8" adapter you can use it with any many microphones like Blue Yeti, Blue Snowball, AT2020, etc.
