What Is Computex?
Computex is a consumer electronic expo that started in 1981 and has outlived a variety of similar conventions. Held in Taipei, it features most of the new tech we’ll soon see for sale. Computex is known as the place to see the latest tech innovations coming from Asia.
Should You Attend?
If you love tech and have never been to a major computer expo outside of CES, I recommend you go to Computex at least once. The hours can be grueling and the walking strenuous, but you’ll get a lot of insight into the direction of new technology. You will see companies you have never heard of, products that never get to the U.S. and lots of hyped products as companies try to out-innovate each other.
What’s Gone On So Far?
While it’s early in the week, we’re already seeing some really cool products from case manufactures such as Corsair’s Bulldog DIY Living room system and In Win’s transforming case.
