Newegg will host a special public event at our Los Angeles-based Hybrid Center location on Feb. 27, between 6-9 p.m. PST to unveil the AORUS 17.3” SLI Gaming Laptop X7. Billed as the “thinnest, lightest” high-performance laptop available, the AORUS laptop will be sold exclusively by Newegg from Feb. 27.
During the Newegg Hybrid Center event, attendees will get hands-on experience with the new AORUS laptop and compete in a Divekick tournament to win Newegg Gift Cards ranging from $50 to $750. Members of pro gaming team CompLexity will be on hand for fans to meet. The event will be streamed live on Newegg’s Twitch.tv channel for everyone to view. Attendance is open to the public, and the first 50 guests will enjoy some free food from The Grilled Cheese Truck from 6-8 p.m.
The AORUS SLI Gaming Laptop X7 includes NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 765M GDDR5 4GB dual graphics and an Intel® 4th generation Core™ i7 processor. Divekick Tournament Details
- Maximum number of entrants will be 24
- Top 4 players will win prizes
- Entries will be done on a first-come, first-served basis
- Registration begins at 6 p.m.
- Tournament will be managed using challonge.com
- Seeding will be randomized and shuffled by the software.
- If there is an odd number of matches, some contestants may receive a bye round
- Two players will compete on one machine
- Standard game mode and rules will be used
