I like this heatsink a lot one a lot1/8/2017 9:24:04 PM
Pros: Easy to install
Very good cooling
Quiet
Cons: non
Overall Review: I'm writing this after my most recent of 6 installs with this fan/heatsink. If you find installing 3rd party coolers your least favorite of all facets of DIY PC building, then you will like this product. It uses the push pin method, exactly the same as stock, but it is even easier because they snap right in on first push, which is not always the case with stock.
Of course that wouldn't mean anything if it didn't keep your cpu cool but this gives me 5c cooler right after install and it does good job of keeping temp down after that.
Disclaimer: I don't overclock and am not a hard core gamer. That said, I played Fallout 4 for 2 hours yesterday on system with i5-6500 and R7 370 video card and cpu never broke 50c
Also, this was first experience with PC Rush and so far, so good. I almost never order from any other seller except NewEgg, but PC Rush had what I wanted so I took a chance. Good job,
Excellent Air cooler for the money2/5/2021 5:15:19 PM
Pros: What is Nice about This Model is, it will fit Socket LGA -1150,1151 and the New LGA -1200. I purchased this After I researched that it would fit all those sockets, primarily for the LGA 1200 which is why I Purchased it. It is now nested on top of a i9 10850k and average temps are around 42 degrees C, and playing games under load temps are 53 to 59 degrees C max. Very easy to install, Already has thermal paste applied , you just remove the cover and snap the pins in place, takes all of 2 minutes to install.
Don't be fooled by the photos on new egg , its quite a beefy cooler. If your like me and don't want the huge towers of fins and massive fans hogging up space in your case, and want something to be very effective, this is definitely the cooler for you.
Cons: NONE
Overall Review: YES , Definitely would recommend this for anyone looking for an air cooler Solution for the new LGA-1200 , or even previous Sockets

Solid cooler3/3/2016 3:47:33 PM
Pros: Solid copper core with aluminium heat dispenser vanes all around, Keeps my I7 - 6700K cool.
Cons: The fan looks under sized for the cooler.
Overall Review: The fan does not protrude from the edge of the heat sink making it look small.
Pros: -Not loud at all i read other reviews and expected to hear it i have some soundproofing on my cases but i cant hear it at all.
Better cooling than the smaller heat-sink
- on lintels approved list for 7700k
- Easy push pin mouting
- Good cooling way better than the smaller stock fans
Cons: tall for a stock fan
Overall Review: Yes it has pre applied paste.
turn the push pins the right way to have them lock when you push it through
match intel logo on top of fan to orientation of writing on chip.
Pros: - Improved high load temps over the stock Intel cooler by 10C-15C.
Cons: - Not a good as other heatsinks out there, but I'm not an overclocker and I just wanted a better heatsink than stock that I could just pop on without any extra fuss.
Overall Review: I could have gone with a more robust heatsink solution, but I didn't feel like dealing with having to apply thermal paste. I picked up some coffee filters and used some 70% alcohol that I had on hand (good luck finding any alcohol with COVID happening) to clean off the processor (i7-8700), and popped this one on. My temperatures at high load improved by 10-15C. That's good enough for me.
I've read that it's a loud heatsink. but my case fans are already loud, and even when I turn a few of them down, this heatsink is still quieter than the other louder fans in my case. I have no complaints.
Pros: Easy to install Very good cooling Quiet
Cons: non
