Yeah, its a great little budget cpu if all your doing is basic computing. although I wish I had gotten the pentium instead because it has hyperthreading which gives you two more cores for $70

this CPU is code name Kaby Lake 7Gen Intel CPU. Does this mean that it will support DDR4 2400Mhz memory ram???

Yes, it will support DDR4 2400MHz RAM. 
For this generation of processors the "default" DDR4 memory speed is 2100MHz.  This means that if you install DDR4-2400 (or faster) it will initially run at 2100Mhz.
To run it faster, you must go into the UEFI (or BIOS) setup screen of the motherboard and enable a memory feature called XMP (abbreviation for "extreme memory profile").  Consult your motherboard's user manual for exact instructions. Usually, there's a setting called something like Memory Frequency - Auto", and you can click on it to chang e the Auto setting to XMP. This should then display the option for 2400MHz. Sometimes, users unfamiliar with this requirement will complain or write negative reviews saying the memory doesn't run at the advertised speed. So, please be sure your motherboard offers the XMP feature (it almost certainly does), and that you enable it AFTER first booting up with the new memory installed to make sure the memory is recognised and working.
My Celeron G3930 is installed on the excellent Gigabyte Z270X-UD3  motherboard along with an 8GB kit of Ballistics DDR4-2400 ( Item#: N82E16820148984 here at Newegg).

Does it come with thermal fluid?

Yes, it comes with thermal paste.  It is the three grey strips on the bottom of the heatsink.  You need to be careful not to touch those strips when installing the processor and heatsink.  During the first few minutes of use those strips will melt, after which the fan will begin to run more slowly and become quieter.

Will it run Linux? Spec above says Win 10 only so I assume no.

will this work with a msi h110m gaming motherboard?

Yes, it is on MSI H110M-Gaming board's Compatibility list.  To see a list of memory, SSDs, hard drives, etc. which are compatible with the H110M-Gaming board go MSI's website, click on Support, then select H110M-Gaming as the model number.

Can I install Linux or nas4free onto a system using this chip?  I ask because the product description says Windows 10 only.  I'm thinking of building a budget NAS box with a mini ITX board, that uses external drives for the disks I use.

As far as I know this entire range of Intel cpu's works OK in Linux, Mac, and Windows. A retail consumer cpu such as this is not usually restricted to any one operating system. If in doubt, you could always check the Linux user forums.
