So i bought a HP - Desktop - 8GB Memory - 1TB Hard Drive and it has this processor. I was wondering if i can remove this processor and put it on to a different motherboard? The reason i am doing this is because right now the motherboard doesn't have a video card slot.

Yes, you can remove the processor and use it in a motherboard that supports the LGA1155 socket CPU.  This is an excellent processor because it is 35watts and most of the mini and micro ATX/ITX motherboards must be used with a 35watt processor.

Power consumption is rated at 35 watts. plenty of tech specs can be found on the web. IBM hosts these, and even wiki pedia covers processor data.
