Does the heatsink have the copper core on it?

The i5 heat sink in question is all aluminum. 
 PN for the included heat sink:  E97379-001.

I installed in its place:
 Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO - CPU Cooler with 120 mm PWM Fan

This product installs with ease and keeps the i5 nice and chili with 4 sets of direct contact heat pipes and 2 fans clipped to the heat sink fins.

Any recommendations for RAM to be paired with this motherboard?
I am looking for something fast and stable as my top priorities.

I purchased 8 gigs of DDR3 G.Skill Ares 1600 and it works very well. No special unnecessary features and it's well priced.

Is this cpu good for chilling?

By chilling I assume you mean a sub zero build. This CPU out puts very little heat, around 43°C on a stock cooler, because it cannot be overclocked and consumes less power than a normal 4690. To take advantage of a nice cooler get the 4690k or the new 6600k if you want an i5.
