Really?... I don't believe that has anything to do with the processor, but yes. USB 1.0 - 3.0 I think this is more of a question about your motherboard.

No, this one did not come with the thermal paste pre-applied.  Some processors do, but this one does not.  I've installed dozens of processors, I clean the surfaces with alcohol and apply "arctic silver" compound by spreading it across the surface with a credit card.  Do this only after the chip has been installed.  There is lots of info on how to do this on the net.

PS, the fan that came with this  processor would not latch when I pushed the pegs down into the mounting holes; fortunately I had others I could use.  I may have just gotten a bad one.

I have a hp compaq elite 8200 with i5 processor with processor socket of Socket H4 LGA-1151. I am wishing to upgrade the desttop by replacing the processor. Would this i7 processor match to my desktop and motherboard? What other things should I consider for upgrade the PC? Thank you

The CPU I7, Socket type is LGA 1155 and is not compatible with your system.

Is this machine compatible with Windows Server 2008 R2 or Windows Server 2012 R2?

I recently purchased this for my desktop computer at work.  It runs windows 8 without any issues.  That being said, the server OS is different than the desktops but I don't see why it wouldn't work.  I have less CPU running in older servers with 2008R2 and windows clustering running the HyperV role.  I don't see a reason why this can't run either OS.

This is an amazing processor. I clocked it 4.8 hz and it doesn't even  flinch.....not sure what you mean by MB, but I HIGHLY recommend this processor. I am very happy with it.
