Yes, It is both 32bit and 64bit capable. You will have to install the 64 bit software operating system, when you use it for 64bit operation.

Do you need to purchase any thermal compound for this CPU or does the "heatsink and fan included" basically put this as an all in one CPU that can just plug and play into the motherboard?

I did not use the stock cooler, but your correct, the cooler that comes with the processor, has thermal compound on the base of the cooler.  Just make sure you remove the thin layer of plastic from the bottom of the cooler, and everything you need comes in the box

I paid a lot more then. I believe it did but did not fit my motherboard so I used my old fan. It had completely different connectors. I ordered the heat paste separate. Also I bought it because it was suppose to have a 3.4 with a 3.9 boost??? I think after a year of having it that my graphs on the computer show a boost?? Seems to be authentic and I have no problems

Yes it did but I never use a stock heat sink that comes with the processor. I'm a fan of Cooler Mater.

Yes you can in stall CC and yes there is other professional software but I would stick with adobe, it's an industry leader. I would recommend min 8GB of ram as well, ideally 16GB+. For professional editing more RAM is better. If you're going the professional editing route, however, I would recommend a better processor, but the i7-3770 is a good place to start on a budget.

How do I get the "Turbo boost"?

For me it was all about the RAM. Went into BIOS and pushed my RAM to 1600, default was set to 1333. My RAM supported this, so there are not any issues. Once I changed it in BIOS it automatically put the processor into Turbo boost mode. You will need memory that can handle faster speeds.

Question 8

Has anyone else had temperature issues while video rendering? I saw one post in the reviews that peaked at 102 C. Did an aftermarket heatsink bring the temps down? and to how much? Thanks!

102 is really high.  I think I was running mid 80's under load with the stock cooler.  I got a cooler master hyper tx3, and i'm probably sitting at around mid 60's now.  I haven't checked since temps are no longer a concern really.  You'll be much better off with an aftermarket cooler, even an entry level one will probably be better than the stock cooler.

You might also want to check airflow in and around your case to make sure there's no dust or anything clogging up your fans, as well as make sure your fan is seated properly, because those temps do seem awfully high.

I f I overclock, it will be a safe minimal overclock. Will I be able to achieve this with this processor instead of the higher priced K model? This will be in a Bit Fenix mini-itx case with Windows 8 Pro and 8 GB DDR3 RAM and at least 1 256 GB SSD
