Without any integrated graphics, how does actually do tasks such as installing an OS or drivers for the separate GPU on a new build?

Although this chip does not have integrated graphics, it still includes all the basic display adapters needed for you to actually see what you are installing on the computer. On a new build, if you are installing a GPU later on, the GPU will simply overtake the basic display adapter for this intel chip. Hope I helped! Good luck.

Yes the KF processors does not come with integrated graphics. To get display, you will need to use a dedicated graphics card.
