Question 1

I want a simple gaming pc, I want it to be able to play simple games like skyrim (not graphic killers like crysis 3) I was wondering if I should go with this, or and AMD Athlon 760k x4 Richland (this system would use an radeon r9 270 as the dedicated gpu)?

Sadly, I too lean toward Intel. AMD is decent for what it does; but, Intel gets things done with "more utilization" of their processing power. I owned both an 8350 and the 9590 and neither one  performed comparably to an Intel. I recently went to an Intel platform using a G-3258, and can play Crysis 3, and just about any other game out. I haven't changed or messed with my video settings as I wanted to see what this processor was capable of. I haven't even tried to OC it. Atm, I'm playing a heavily modded Skyrim without any issues. I do get some stuttering at times; but, this is due to my video card, and not the processor. I will state, that on playing C3, I didn't go too deeply into the game so there may be spots more intense on a CPU than others.

This item has been incorrectly listed as having Turbo Boost. Is the listing incorrect?

Per Intel's website this CPU does NOT have turbo boost.

What is the differenc between pentium and i3?

Both Haswell Pentium and Core i3 are mostly the same, but the Core i3 supports more/better features than the Pentium:  1) Biggest difference is that the Core i3 supports Hyper-Threading; both processors have two physical cores, but the Core i3 has two more logical cores than the Pentium for a total of four.  2) Core i3 supports AVX2.0 CPU instruction set.  3) Core i3 has integrated Intel HD Graphics 4400, whereas Pentium has the less powerful Intel HD Graphics (matters only if you plan to use this instead of a dedicated video card).

Why is this listed as a combo, all I see is a single CPU (and box :) ??
