Can ram clocked at 1600Mz work with this processor?

The should slow down to match the CPU bus speed just fine

How is LGA 2011 compared to LGA 1366? I am a gamer here. I currenly have a i7-970 at 3.20GHZ right now. So any benfits in getting LGA 2011?

I wouldnt use it for gaming.. it isnt designed for it...I use it for my server and it works great..
