DisplayPort v1.1a display can be the last display in a DP v1.2 chain. [3] DisplayPort Dual Mode (DP++) requires the use of a powered DP++ adapter. The graphics source must be DP++ compliant. [4] HD audio through DisplayPort cannot be switched independently.
