Is this product compatible with Windows 7?

Yes it is. You will need to have free USB port in your computer for the receiver, but I had no problems with W7 recognizing it.

Question 2

I purchased one of these and it works great.  I am considering purchasing another for a different room and I am worried that the signals might interfere with each other.  They will be placed two rooms apart but I don't know if the wireless signals will go through walls.  Will this be an issue for me?

No.  I have 2 of these units used in the same room and they do not interfere.  Each one is paired to the USB dongle seperately.

At 6'4" 'mini' size is not a good thing.

I have 2 of these keyboards and they work great.

Width (at the widest part toward the bottom)=14 inches
Width (at the top from buttons to mouse wheel)=13 inches
Height (right in the middle)=6.25 inches

I'm a pretty big fella and the keyboard fits well in your lap and works 25 feet away (that I have measured). Batteries last a long time as well.

Does it work if I put the receiver in back of my htcp (not in cabinet)? or I need usb extensio? I want to order spare trackball with this keyboard, how to get the right one?  what about rechargeable batteries? ubuntu?

I have four of these keyboards

The keyboard has worked with Ubuntu. I have not seen any issues of any kind using it with Ubuntu.

I have the receiver on the back of all my PCs I use this keyboard with.  Receiver reception and range seem to be excellent. I have one unit in my living room, the PC is easy 15ft away, the receiver is located on the back of this PC. There ha s been no issues at all.

I have never used rechargeable batteries in the unit. Battery life is really good.

I not sure the roller ball is easily replaceable.  Looks like the keyboard would have to be taken a part to replace the ball. The ball is somewhat small but works really well. Not sure a replacement can be ordered.

Also, this keyboard will work with a PS3 and PS4.

The IOGear website says the GKM561R is compatible with Windows 8, but Newegg product page says only Win 7.  Will it work with Win 8?

Yes it works with Windows 8, I am using it with 8.1 on Media Center with no issues.

what are the physical dimensions of this keyboard?

the keyboard is approx 13 inches long,  6.5 inches wide and 1 inch thick at the top tapering to about a quarter inch thick at the bottom. I have found it is a great size for my lap on the couch. I love this thing, have not had a single issue with it.

Is anyone able to tell me the dimensions of the Keyboard?

The Keyboard is 14" wide at the bottom and a bit less at the top. It is 6.5" from top to bottom at its widest point. It is 1" thick at the top where the scroll wheel and track ball are and a bit less at the bottom.
It is an excellent keyboard for holding in your hand and operating the mouse, thumb wheel and trackball features. 
I use it to control the computer that is attached to my TV from across the room.

Is it possible to order an additional USB receiver? To have two instead of one, just in case. Thanks.
