I have a macbook (USB-C) and a pc (USB-A/HDMI) that I'm looking to connect to this. Would this switch be able to handle 2 4k monitors with HDMI connections?

This only has 1 HDMI output. It doesn't work with multiple monitors. Also, to do video, you have to go over usb-c. So on the PC you'll need either a video card with a usb-c port or a motherboard with usb-c and a CPU with onboard graphics.
