It says it has 1GB in the features and 2GB of ram in the description. Some one know what one if correct ?

Short answer yes it has 2 GB RAM..

Longer answer: If you install a  terminal emulator app and  at the command line type the command on the first line below,

cat /proc/meminfo                                              
MemTotal:        2032456 kB

-- the second line gives the total RAM in kB.  The 2032456 kB is 2.03 GB.

Note: Use of the "free" command is recommended on most internet sources. However, it is not available on the IView. Thus, use the above cat command.

Question 2

Does it have a camera?

There are two cameras - a 0.3 MP front and 2MP rear.  I disagree with craig t. - these cameras work but are not very good.  The front facing camera is very grainy. The rear camera better, but both have a very white auto-white balance.

Can i remove unwanted pre-installed apps? Thanks.

I haven't run into any preinstalled apps that need to be removed. It's a pretty basic OS. I got it for my g/f so I can't know for sure. But normally you have to root devices to remove preinstalled apps.

What is King Kong App Market? What about Google Play Store?

There is no King Kong App Market installed in this tablet,so I don't know what that is. Google Play is installed and you can down all the apps from Google play store, hope that help.

Can this tablet charge from the USB port, or only using the included wall adapter with barrel connector?

Of course the i700 charges via the microUSB, but much slower rate than 5V 1.5A unit specific charger - I have a 5V 2.0 amp charger w/ same barrel connector, but it would not charge w/ it (probably has amp charge limiting circuit).

Not sure the maximum the device will take, but I can confirm mine will read a 32GB SD card.

Are you trying to use microphone only?
Also, explain what you are trying to do.
I have used ear buds with a microphone and recorded my voice on this tablet using the Sound recorder App BUT I have not used my Skype on this tablet.

how are the viewing angles, do the colors shift a lot when off center? i cannot find anything saying IPS or TN so i am assuming it's TN?

The colors don't change with the viewing angle but the brightness does. I have no clue what IPS TN is. inches per second Tennessee?

How long does the battery last?

Moderate use, about 3 hours and 40 minutes.
I played a over dozen games of Gin Rummy (100 points per game);
a dozen games of Spades (500 points per game, four players onliine)
Six games of Tower Defense (could not get past this one stage)
Four games of Night of the Living Dead ( survival stage)
While playing these games; I was uploading 4 gigs of videos to my cloud drive so I took off some time from the games also one rest room break.

I like the tablet but 4 Google play apps did not transfer; reason stated was conflict with apps
