This four piece soldering kit includes a 60W soldering iron, soldering iron stand, helping hands magnifier stand, and a tube of solder.
The 60 Watt Precision Tip Soldering Iron is ideal for electronics repair. It features a power indicator light, robust stress relief and replaceable tip. It quickly heats to working temperature and has an insulated handle that is comfortable to hold and remains cool remains cool during prolonged use.
The dual clamp magnifying desktop stand lends a "helping hand" to soldering, jewelry design, modeling and other projects of fine detail. The magnifying glass, clips and joints are adjustable to a complete 360 rotation. Additionally, lateral adjustments can be made to the position of the magnifying glass on the arm, or length of the arm on either side of the base.
Kit includes 12.5 g tube of 63/37 rosin core 0.8 mm diameter solder wire. Solder comprised of 63% to 37% lead has the lowest melting point of any tin lead solder mixed at a different ratio. The low melting point is especially beneficial when soldering electronics circuitry which can be damaged by too much heat.
