Pros: Does everything I expected it to. Heatsink is solid copper. Dual monitor support is a plus. Allows me to stream high definition movies. DirectX 10. Works perfectly with Win 7 32bit.

Cons: PCI has its limits. Not the cards fault. Included drivers are always out of date by the time you get them, get your Geforce drivers from Nvidia's website and nowhere else!!

Overall Review: Breathed new life into an old dell. Runs World of Warcraft at respectable medium settings, even with an old single core processor. Great option for getting higher resolutions on older systems. If you have any option for PCI-E or even AGP, then get that instead. If your PC only has PCI slots like mine, this is the best you can get IMO.

Pros: Very nice card for a PCI. Probably the best out there. I'd been looking for a PCI GPU for over a year and I finally just bought this one. I figured before I bought it that I would have to upgrade my PSU. I have a Dell Dimension 2400, and I upgraded from a 200W to a 480W PSU. This card is a MAJOR improvement over the GeForce 4400MX I'd been running. I can play CSS, Portal, TF2, HOMM5 at very good frame rates. High quality and high res too! Overall, besides maybe a slightly hefty price tag, I'm very satisfied with this card.

Cons: It runs what I consider to be hot, but I guess for a GPU it is acceptable. It hits 131 degrees Fahrenheit and stays there, under full load or idle. Beats me why or how but as long as it doesn't get any hotter than that I'm fine.

Overall Review: I think except for the motherboard and case, I've pretty much rebuilt this Dimension. I have to list it out I guess. From 2.4GHz Celeron to 2.66GHz P4 Northwood, From 256MB RAM to 1GB RAM (DDR), From 200W to 480W PSU, From Integrated Intel Graphics to GeForce 9500GT (PCI) From Integrated sound to Audigy card, From 40GB WD Caviar to 120GB Barracuda (IDE), From CD reader (only) to two DVD burners (IDE).

Pros: Excellent for a PCI card. Brings some life back to computers with older motherboards. A lot quieter than the VisionTek X1300 PCI it replaced. That one had a very loud fan when in 3D mode, even on Google Earth.

Cons: One little nagging problem: I use my PC to play movies on my projector TV. I turn on the TV, and then when I try to switch to independent desktops, it doesn't have that option. Only single or clone. I must reboot the computer with the TV turned on in order to have the independent dual display option.

Overall Review: One other little thing that I don't consider negative enough to add to the cons: I wish it came with a DVI->HDMI adapter.

Pros: Seeing a 9500GT in PCI, I was taken aback. I hadn't messed with my backup computer in quite some time, and was still under the impression that the tired old Geforce 6200 PCI was the fastest thing you could get for the PCI bus, boy was I wrong. To upgrade I went with the highest card I could get, hence the purchase of this product. The card has some very attractive features; dual monitor support, HDTV support, and sporting 1GB of onboard RAM all on PCI, I couldn't pass it up. It does run a bit faster than the 6200 (see below), but what's more is that there is CUDA support on this card for distributed computing projects. If you've been running an old P4 single core Dell Dimension on a distributed computing project, be prepared to have this card blazing through work units at 10x the speed or so of the CPU. If you're not into that, this card will hold its own against some older games and supports a variety of resolutions to take advantage of the most modern, large flatscreens.

Cons: Installation was troublesome. This went into a Dell Dimension 3000. You must disable the onboard video for this card to display in Windows XP. You cannot disable the onboard in BIOS and must disable it in Windows. If you already have the card installed before doing this (as I did), you must boot into safe mode (the 9500 will display in safe mode), go to the device manager, and disable the onboard graphics. Then boot as normal and proceed. Had I known this, it would have saved me about half an hour of tinkering with the install. The upgrade in graphics performance from the 6200 is marginal. Trying out a few games, there was a noticeable gain, but for $100, they were gains that I could live without. Yes, it is slightly better, but only slightly and only for older games. It's not likely that this card would render an unplayable game on the 6200 playable on this card. Having said that, I regret the purchase slightly as the gain means that the card wasn't needed.

Overall Review: If you want the features in an older box such as dual monitors, HDTV support, or you're running a distributed computing program on a system that only has PCI expansions, you'll be pleased with this card. For $100 however, unless you're taking advantage of all of these features, this card isn't worth it. Keep your 6200 and even your FX series cards and put that money towards a newer system. On the other hand, if you are bound and determined to squeeze every last drop of possible performance from an antiquated PCI dependent system, then you're not likely to find a better upgrade. 3 stars for features and CUDA support, comes up short on real performance gains and price.

Pros: PCI card - works with older machines, and allows DX10. Low profile - comes with an optional bracket about half the size of the case slot, for really slim PCs. Quiet.

Cons: PCI card. Did not believe that bus speed would matter as much as it does, so I went on a limb and bought it for a PC without a PCI-e slot. Could barely tell any improvement over onboard video (NVIDIA GeForce 6150 SE). This was really disappointing as a re-certified XFX 9800 GTX+ was less expensive than the $90 I dropped for this card. I am now upgrading the motherboard and going with a cheap PCI-e card. Surprisingly this would have been cheaper, but now I'm stuck paying the 15% restocking fee for newegg.

Overall Review: Go with something cheaper and less powerful, as you won't be able to utilize this card to it's full extent because of the limits of the regular PCI interface. Gave it 5 eggs, as it works as advertised, just not as I'd like.

Pros: As mentioned before, duel screen support solid copper heat sink and 1gig.

Cons: It is PCI and $93...

Overall Review: It works well with my old Dell that's a single core. Plays the games I care to play such as WoW or YouTube streaming. Does as its intended and works well.

Pros: The Windows 7 upgrade advisor found no issues with my computer, but after I installed W7 I found that there were no drivers for my GeForce FX 5500 based video card, and it barely worked. After installing this card as a replacement there was a huge improvement. Though I was not able to use all the Win7 eye-candy (e.g. Aero) without hiccups, the system is perfectly usable now.

Cons: None, except that this card can't make up for the rest of my system being eight years old!

Overall Review: At the time I purchased this, there were two other cards based on a slightly earlier chipset that were just as well reviewed and cost half as much as this one. It was a tough decision. This card just barely edged those others out because I plan to keep the system for a few more years (at least), and this is the last upgrade it will ever get.

Pros: Let's see. What I like about this video card? This thing is sweet! I have a 4gb network connection, a 13gb ramdisk and this video card offers the perfect solution to my current setup. I am happy, now that I can at least run my favorite game -Rift.., which I attest is very demanding graphically. Rift is a power sucker of a game. Now don't think that you will run this card with max settings on Rift., because you can't. I like my dual mode server setup. I run a very busy website and Rift for enjoyment everyday. THIS IS THE BEST SOLUTION FOR SERVERS!

Cons: Rather steep price, but well worth it.
