do the speakers come off or is it all one?

The speaker's do not have to be attached but can be. We use ours without the speakers at all. We use the line output jack and patch a pre-recorded CD directly into our phone system for music and product information to be played back to our customers while they are on hold. I would definitely recommend the unit.

No.  It's a rca jack.

Hi does this model have a bookmark function to save your place for audio books?

I am sorry to say that it does not.  It does however have skip and search modes which would help with finding your place.  Although that is not as convenient as a bookmark function.

What are the dimensions for this unit?  It also looks like it is curved.  If it is how far off the wall will the ends project out?
