It uses a 110v cord that is fixed into the back.  The clock numbers are bright and easy to see the sound quality is $35.00 worth .

Question 4

It says you can wake to radio, cd or alarm.  But can you set it up to wake up to songs on an MP3 player?  tia

Yes, and it is not too complicated. But consider this. The MP3 player must be left "on" when you go to sleep. The Clock can be set to the MP3 player, then turned off. The Alarm is set to MP3 player and it works. But remember, you have to leave the MP3 player on alllll night. Works better with a phone, that sleeps, until waken with use.

two question:  What are the dimensions of this unit and does it have a headphone jack?

Dimensions: 8.5 in W x 3.5 in H  7.5 in D / There doesn't appear to be a headphone jack. Hope this helps...
