Does this need to be downloaded right away. Can an additional device be added later if only 3 pcs used initially?

You do not have to install this immediately, and the time on the license won't start ticking until it is activated on the first machine. Once it is activated, the 1 year starts ticking down on all subsequent machines. For example, if you activate the license on the first machine, then five days later on a second machine, the second machine will have 360 days on the license.

Hi, just a note, I love Kaspersky Internet Security, a great and sophisticated, yet semi-lightweight protection system and have been using it for myself and for my customers since 2006.  However, lately I have noticed that from Newegg and 1 other supplier of these download keys where I buy them from; I have received keys that activate just fine but then a couple months or so later, the message will come up:  license key blacklisted/ your protection has been disabled.    So upon calling Kaspersky about this, they said that the keys in question were intended for Europe, not USA.  So I don't know if it was a bad batch, but it was inconvenient as I had to contact customer service to obtain new keys.

If I buy this today and do not need to use this for 6 months, when I install on my first device the 1 year starts, right?

Disagree with some of the other replies. There is only 1 key for all 5 users. The starting date for the 1 year time period for all 5 uses starts when the product key is 1st used and activated. Thus, when this happens, the starting date for all 5 uses begins and ends on the same date, regardless of when the software was installed or downloaded on the other devices.

does this product work on Windows 8 and later Windows 10? I bought one last time from newegg but it didn't work on Windows 8 and I had to install it on a separate computer which i don't use often.

if it didn't work on Win 8, how can i do to get refund?

I am currently using this software on Windows 8. I recently was notified by Kaspersky of an update specifically for Windows 10, so presumably it will work with that too.

It supports 5 total devices - PCs, tablets, phones, ...  So you could support 5 total PCs.

I contacted newegg today. Their rep said that if you contact them, they can resend the email with the product key information. Their phone number can be found by accessing them at the bottom of their webpage under Customer Service "contact us."

the software works on windows 8.1 and iMac as expected. but the apk didn't work on my android file - after downloading the file, it warns that the "File can't be opened". My phone is Samsung Galaxy 4.

for iPhone, only the safe browser was installed, it doesn't seem to be the right app.

anyone can advice on it?

You need "Norton Mobile Security". It will activate with a current, multi-device subscription when you provide the credentials.
