Question 1

Kensington K55433WWA or 3M PF430W9B for a 43-inch 16:9 monitor?

Accepted Answer

Choose the Kensington K55433WWA when your monitor has an edge-to-edge, bezel-less design or you want its included frameless tab holders for removal. Consider the 3M PF430W9B if its stated U.S.-made and TAA-compliant status matters for your purchase. Both are designed for 43-inch 16:9 monitors and offer reversible matte and glossy surfaces; check your monitor’s active screen dimensions and mounting compatibility before ordering.

Question 2

Does the Kensington K55433WWA block side views more than the 3M PF430W9B?

Accepted Answer

The published specifications do not establish that one provides stronger side-view privacy. Kensington lists a ±30° viewing angle, while 3M describes blackout privacy outside a 60° viewing angle. Choose between them based more on fit and other requirements than on a claimed privacy advantage.

Question 3

Is the Kensington 43-inch filter a better fit than the 3M PF430W9B for a bezel-less monitor?

Accepted Answer

Kensington explicitly positions the K55433WWA for edge-to-edge, bezel-less monitors. The 3M PF430W9B is specified for monitors with a raised bezel. If your display has little or no bezel, the Kensington’s stated fit is the clearer match; confirm the filter dimensions and attachment method against your monitor before buying.

Question 4

Will this privacy filter fit any 43-inch monitor?

Accepted Answer

It is designed for a 43-inch, 16:9 widescreen monitor, including bezel-less, edge-to-edge displays. Check your monitor’s active screen size and aspect ratio before buying; a 43-inch diagonal alone does not guarantee a fit.

Question 5

Can I remove the filter when I want to share my screen?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The included frameless tab holders allow quick removal. Double-sided tape is also included for a cleaner, more permanent installation.

Question 6

Does the privacy filter block people sitting behind me?

Accepted Answer

No. Its limited viewing angle is intended to reduce visibility from the sides, up to ±30°; it does not block someone looking at the monitor from directly behind you.

Question 7

Is this filter useful in a bright office, and can I choose the screen finish?

Accepted Answer

It has an anti-reflective coating to reduce glare and reversible matte and glossy sides, so you can choose the finish that suits your workspace. It is intended for desk use where side-view privacy matters.
